New Zo video: “Victicrat”

posted at 3:15 pm on October 24, 2009 by Ed Morrissey

Long, but worth it, especially for those who get ripped for wandering off the political reservation based on their ethnicity. Zo, who undoubtedly gets plenty of that, produces and plays a supporting role in the video “Victicrat,” which will only be on YouTube for this weekend. After that, it’s exclusively at PJTV (via Six Meat Buffet):

I liked it. His YouTube channel is much easier to navigate then the clunky and empty Pajamas TV. They should scrap that operation.

Damned … they’ve gone full Lib’Tard on us.

Loved the message. I don’t know what constitutes quality rap, though. My opinion is useless in that regard.

Nice video, BTW. Liked it.

Kristopher on October 24, 2009 at 3:37 PM

If I’m not mistaken, “Victicrat” is a term coined by Larry Elder – hope he gets credit.

It seems Black folks are getting blinder and blinder…Those who have “buyer’s remorse” Obamawise are still not willing to speak out against his policies because of his skin color. That is to our peril, all of us who call ourselves American first!

A very good job by Zo and team.

Reminding all of the most hideous aspect of liberalism/progressivism…

OT/ Uh-oh, AP is reporting that Fiday night Barack Hussein Obama declared a “National State of Emergency” citing the swine flu for this action.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091024/ap_on_go_pr_wh/us_obama_swine_flu

Some of you may, or may not know someone with this affliction. But certainly there is nothing, at least I can see, that warrants such drastic a measure. Are we witnessing possible first moves of (as in chess) of an end game.

I really cannot say, but if so it seems strategically way preamature. Are the progressives panicing at the level, overly tame thus far in my estimation, of resistence to their munificient program for America?

What ever the case, I cannot see how this could be good news. Stay tuned.

Archimedes on October 24, 2009 at 3:53 PM

Its ironic, I suppose – but the reality is that it isn’t really bloggers or the commentariat or conservative politicians who will finally stem the rising tide of socialism.

It is this message – presented EXACTLY like this. To reach mainstream America, you have to speak to them, in their language. You have to reach the under 30 crowd. You have to speak in voices they see as authentic.

Alfonzo Rachel is quickly becoming the most-influential least known conservative voice in America. He is making a difference. Now all he needs is a wider audience.

Nice, some right-leaning flows from some nappy-headed bros!

I’m really glad to see Larry Elder getting into user-driven media. He’s been threatening to do so for a while. I think a right-rap vid is a great attention grabber. It’s also nice to see such South Central get some decent media attention.

There are many conservatives in America’s so-called “hoods.” I think this will be great for kids to see.

Anybody who is a fan of Larry Elder can surely catch some his trademark conservative-affirmations and admonitions. This is great stuff.

In case anybody missed the original reference, “Damn it feels good to be a victim,” click here.

Grossly generalized remarks like that are more inflammatory than enlightening. There were many times in my life where it might have been tempting to say “Gee, white folks are really getting ____________.” I don’t and won’t because I find it more effective to relate to individuals than blanket every member of a group with inaccurate aspersions.

Notice conservatives who are successful mythologize themselves, they would rather be vain and patronizing than gracious. They admire themselves. They also fail to admit that governmental institutions, or just flat-out luck played a role in their success.

In contrast successful liberals don’t attribute their success solely to their own unassailable personal genius. They’re successful, yet humble.

No problem. Ayn Rand is a perfect example. Regarding her rise from a poor immigrant to a prolific conservative intellectual Rand once said

No one helped me, nor did I think at any time that it was anyone’s duty to help me.

This is of course, false. She spend her first few months in the U.S. living off of loans from family members, which she promised to pay back when she became rich (she reneged, never speaking to her family again). She also benefited from the luck of moving to Hollywood just as it was growing, and bumping into the director Cecil Demille there.

This is not to say that Rand’s success was due only to luck and help from others. Rand is brilliant, no doubt. But it is unbelievably pompous of her to attribute her success solely to her own personal genius, when this is clearly not the case.

A great counter-example is the liberal billionaire Warren Buffet. He has always been humble about his success, and expressed gratitude for the governmental institutions (like financial institutions, banks, courts) that have helped facilitate his success. He doesn’t mythologize himself, or attribute his success only to his hard-work and brilliance. He is successful and proud, yet humble.

I’ve noticed most uh ‘liberal christians’ have no problems supporting communists, like the WCC and NCC did for decades…remember the ‘reverend’ joan brown-campbell…helping to get Elian Gonzales back to that murderer Castro?

and they always support the left’s agenda, from abortion, to gay marriage, and everything in between.

look like a lamb, speak like a dragon….

The Italian Shoes? Why’d he have to make them Italian? At least he didn’t make them Bruno Magli.

James O’Keefe and Zo, et al,

Keep stickin it to em. Well done.

Geochelone on October 24, 2009 at 6:18 PM

Notice conservatives who are successful mythologize themselves, they would rather be vain and patronizing than gracious. They admire themselves. They also fail to admit that governmental institutions, or just flat-out luck played a role in their success.

In contrast successful liberals don’t attribute their success solely to their own unassailable personal genius. They’re successful, yet humble.

Who would you rather emulate?

crr343 on October 24, 2009 at 4:56 PM

KIK, you’re so dumb you don’t even realize what you just said. You just described O’bama exactly.

Del Dolemonte on October 24, 2009 at 6:18 PM

One ideology is proud, but humble. The other is self-congratulatory and pompous.

I’m happy with my choice.

crr343 on October 24, 2009 at 5:39 PM

No you’re not.

Del Dolemonte on October 24, 2009 at 6:20 PM

but there is certainly something vain about attributing your success solely to your own personal genius.

crr6 on October 24, 2009 at 5:39 PM

You’re suggesting conservative Americans don’t give thanks to their country when they achieve success?

Funny. Whatever failings conservatives allegedly have, gratitude to their country is usually not one of them. The ones I’ve known are usually thankful to be living in a country that grants them the ability to pursue their achievements without interference (though under Obama, that balance has begun to shift radically). Now what are you claiming exactly?

RD on October 24, 2009 at 6:21 PM

Excellent. It’s too bad it’ll only be available on PJTV after this weekend. If they’re trying to get the word out, limiting the audience to only a certain site is a lame way to do it.

Fixed.

A bunch of kids with a boastring budget could produce a video like this and the GOP with its millions of dollars came up with this ?
The repubs need to go back to their neighborhoods and communities and learn to speak and think like conservative Americans .

When I first saw the guy in the blue pimp costume and female dancer alongside Zo in his red Ronald Reagan t-shirt, I could have swore it was James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles.

As someone mentioned earlier in the comments, James O’Keefe is in fact listed in the credits, but Hannah Giles is not, so they must have just had a Giles look-a-like.

In any case, I appreciated the message of the song. The way to turn it around is to keep preaching:
1. Graduate high school
2. Wait to make babies until you at least twenty
3. Wait to make babies until you are married
4. Fulfill your responsibilities as a father

Those are good rules to live by for all Americans regardless no matter how light or dark their skin is, or how long their pinky toe is on their right foot.

Who are you and what have you done with crr6? Seriously, if you were this civil all the time it would actually be fun having you around to argue with and bounce ideas off one another.

crr6 on October 24, 2009 at 5:39 PM

I guess you might be correct. There is a pretty extensive list of liberals who are “proud, but humble”.

The first few that come to mind are:

Barbara “I worked hard for this title, please call me Senator” Boxer

Reverend Jessie Jackson, Jr.

Reverend Al Sharpton

Congressman Barney Frank

Congress Critters Shummer, Dodd, Pelosi, Reid.

TV critters Obermann, Mathews, Carville…

… and on, and on.

Yep, all of them are certainly “humble”.

You. Are. A. Joke. (in my humble opinion)

Jewels on October 24, 2009 at 6:23 PM

Agreed. FWIW now is not the time for PJTV to try & drive revenues to their site; now is the time for them to get the word out, to disseminate the video as widely as possible.

Putting it behind an access “wall” (which some will have to pay a membership fee to cross, having already burned through their allotment of “N free viewings” w/o realizing it) makes it impossible to share a link with any confidence it will work in the future (and thereby maximize exposure).
