…sounds like I’ve been “DISCRIMINATED” against by Countrywide.

Is there a way to shine light on this issue by filing a law suit for discrimination — with all elements being equal (credit, down payment, etc)…it would appear that a political class received preferential treatment and hence discriminated against joe-six-pack.

Generally it’s only little scandals that break open, because the mass of Congresscritters are willing to lose one or two now and then to save the rest, but anything big is usually bipartisan enough that you’ll have a cooperative effort to bury it.

Abramoff was an interesting exception, in that the Dems managed to keep their involvement quiet enough that although there was taint on both sides the impact was pretty much all GOP.
