Ultimately, isn’t this what we are fighting against? The back room deals with the elite in-siders who want to ‘tell’ us who is our conservative leaders when there is nothing conservative about them. They’ve been dictating to conservatives for years. These comparisons won’t hurt her.

I’ll bet you didn’t know that ‘Abraham’ had an “utterly paper-thin” resume too. He served in the Illinois state legislature for four terms and then one term in the House of Representatives. Not particularly impressive by any standard and yet, everybody but us Southerners thinks he’s one of the greatest US presidents. I think he’s on our currency, isn’t he?

The argument is about traditional GOP policies. For most of us it’s conservative policy and I think you would agree they have been articulated by conservatives and rejected by RINOs. They don’t think our policies ( principles ) can win an election. They’re wrong and Sarah will prove it.

“Buchanan established his through his 1992 primary challenge to George H. W. Bush. He won no states and few delegates, but inflicted serious damage on the president with a strong (near 40 percent) showing the New Hampshire primary and emerged as the uncontested leader of the G.O.P.’s economic nationalist wing.

No HW inflicted serious damage on himself. The lack of a decent nondemocrat alternative because of his incumbency was the main reason people like Buchanan and Perot were even in demand. The loss of Atwater showed the paper tiger for what he was.

The GOP didn’t just lose. The traditional GOP lost major states that used to be Red. Those weren’t just purple states. They were Red States.

I think aftermath of the election said it all. There was nothing but jeering at the GOP. There were incompetent promises: We’ll produce our own budget, and then none came. There were absurd in-fights being made public regarding Steele.

The only real energy going on is with Palin.

It’s the traditional GOP voices that need to actually articulate some policy stances, outline a saleable program.

That’s what happens when you grow up. You get all conservative and stuff. I wonder how hard the left will bring down the hammer on Fey? It didn’t really bother me that Fey imitated Palin, very well, I thought. It was pretty funny. As are all the imitations of all the presidents, I think.

I hear conservatives talk about Obama’s radical agenda, I know they despise Pelosi, but like it or not the way to stop them is to beat them politically. It is one thing to say you do not believe in power over prniciple and all that, but political power is the only that will stop the Obama agenda from being enacted.

I heard very late last night on Greta that Palin endorsed Hoffman. If so, game on! Repubs bedamned. Conservatives unite!

A candidate can make 5 to 10 statements about the core Conservative values.

And on EVERY other issue, “IS THAT AS IMPORTANT AS PROTECTING OUR COUNTRY OR ELIMINATING THE DEBT? DON’T DISTRACT ME FROM THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS FACING OUR NATION!”
