When you think about the last three months and how far his support on major issues has deteriorated, it’s almost miraculous that he’s above 50 percent.

Why is it acceptable for a sitting “president” to admit that unemployment will continue for at least another year while he does NOTHING about it? Affirmative action in action, I guess. Why are so many pollsters still “cooking the books” for Obama? According to RealClear Politics on 10/22/09, the ABC News/Wash Post poll is 57 / 40 (+17) pro-Obama. There’s a 23 point difference from Rasmussen’s spread of 47 /53(-6)!

-13 on Rasmussen strongly approve-strongly disapprove scale. 47% at least somewhat approve of him; 52% don’t approve. I’ll take those numbers over Gallup.

North Dakota has actively gone out to other states with high unemployment and recruited. They were at a job fair in Michigan last Spring when I was still looking. Clearly their efforts have paid off.

Gee North Dakota added jobs. Wonder why? Easy answer. Those of us who live in ND tend to be a conservative related to money matters, our banks did not make a lot of stupid loans to people who really could not afford them, our population is well educated and has learned how to work, and we have also allowed the tapping our our oil and coal natural resources.
