Why, you ask, would they use 33% Dems and 20% GOP as the sample for this survey?

Well, I answer, because that’s what the spread actually is.

Not too difficult.

Since June, Dems are down a little, GOP is down a lot and Independents are up. Looks like those town hall protests turned people off of both parties, though they hurt the GOP more than the Dems.

And here’s the headline at WaPo…

CLEAR MAJORITY NOW BACKS PLAN

The words “public option” are NOWHERE in that poll.
