Poll: What was the Obamateurism of the Week?

posted at 8:05 am on October 18, 2009 by Ed Morrissey

It’s Sunday, which means it’s time for Hot Air readers to take a position on the Obamateurism of the Week — although don’t worry about it too much.  If your choice becomes inconvenient, you can always take another position in front of another audience later.   It’s not as if we’ll treat you as an enemy of war or something, or use your endorsement of a position you haven’t actually taken.  I’d go into some detail for next week’s poll, but as you all know, that’s still pretty far away.

Previous “winners”:

Got an Obamateurism of the Day? If you see a foul-up by Barack Obama, e-mail it to me at obamaisms@edmorrissey.com with the quote and the link to the Obamateurism. I’ll post the best Obamateurisms on a daily basis, depending on how many I receive. Include a link to your blog, and I’ll give some link love as well. And unlike Slate, I promise to end the feature when Barack Obama leaves office.

Regarding Bob Dole, it’s his RINO tendencies that helped to get us where we are now. If Republicans run real candidates then the children on the socialist front won’t be able to take over. We get 4 years of Barrack Bueller’s day off as punishment for stupidomics in voting.

If this column is about the most serious exhibitions of amateurisms by the White House, how could “the failure to make a decision on supporting our troops” be left off the list?

It appears to me that Obama is nearly totally unable to distinguish important things from unimportant things, and friends from true enemies. These characteristics are most dangerous in a chief executive, as they render the nation nearly defenseless against our enemies: all an enemy has to do to defeat the White House is to present problems which require quick, decisive action.

We would not have such an inexperienced and incapable man in the presidency if either the Democrats or the press had done even a half @ss job of vetting the Democrat candidates.

The other items pale in comparison to this most serious Obamateurism.

Again, showing his weaknesses and megalomania by taking on a media source that does not fall in line with his mandate of socialism.

President Obama clearly sees U.S. as the domestic enemy and his actions show he views FOX as our voice that needs to be silenced.
