Rand Paul has different views than his father. Right now we need as many people with free market principals in congress as possible. We need to get rid of all these big government types. You should give Ron Paul credit for always wanting to shrink the size of government and cut taxes.

What pisses me off is the fact that too many people want to reach out to those who would turn a blind eye to the slaughter of innocent life. Those guys are “legit” in their eyes. But someone who who believes the Fed should be eliminated – no – sorry – that guy need not apply.

Quite right. Paulian “interlopers” need to be harnessed, not evicted, because their cause is also right. The system of people ‘voting’ themselves money causes much of the social ills of America. The Fed system allows this, because a pacified people ignore looting and corruption.

I believe the next 2 election cycles are going to be critical and we need to really back conservatives in the republican primaries with money and time. Get involved in your local establishment GOP and wrest control.

Even if that means opposing the so called moderates and ideologues. If these guys had better ideas we won’t be in such miserable situation. Any time you hear these a$#H@*@s mouthing any of their nonsense tell them they are the reason we are here. If they ask for support we need to start with HELL NO.

PS: I have thrown 3 letters from John McCain for support into the dustbin.

But still I’ve made a couple of forays because… well, because I at least wanted to try to contribute in whatever way I could.

As a result I’ve gotten the opportunity to work with Michelle Malkin, most notably on the artwork for the cover of her NYTimes bestseller Culture of Corruption.

My experience with her has been uniformly great. In case anyone doubts it, I assure you that when it comes to business, Michelle Malkin is unwaveringly honest, fair, generous and encouraging. Just as I expected she would be.

I’ve also been lucky enough to work with Michael O from the North Texas Tea Party. He’s doing wonderful work and I’m privileged to have been able to participate in a small way.

But I’ve also had a bad experience or two. Won’t mention names or go into detail but there are some self-servers and a few outright nutcases out there.

Oh well but Western CPAC sounds like it’s not happening now, and never was. Good riddance really. Let it die and be replaced by something better.

What has happened to David Keene and the ACU?

He is the same as he has always been, the Arlen Spectre supporter that he is. This is just some light being shined on him bow.
The conservative movment is eat up with people like this.

First, the event did not turn out a large number of attendees despite its fifth year in existence, showing that not much momentum has been made by the organizers.

I live in CA and barely heard anything about WCPAC. And believe me… i’m on a lot of political spam lists, both snail mail and online.

That’s the exact opposite of CPAC, where i receive email reminders nearly a year before the event.

If i had heard earlier, i might have actually attended. Although now it seems like i may be better off planning for the “real” thing next February.

What’s happened is that Keene has become way too self-important to be of any use to the conservative movement anymore. He’s going to be consigned to the dustbin of history sooner rather than later, in my opinion.
