Comment log-in issues fixed

Over the last couple of days since our upgrade to WordPress 2.8.4, we have received a number of e-mails telling us about problems with the log-in sequence. Usually, this happens because upgrades require new cookies, so we advise people to clear their browser cache and log in fresh. This time, though, we appeared to have more than one problem, and our crack technical team has worked hard to resolve it. We have been told that the problem has been fixed and people should be able to log out and back into Hot Air normally. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I’ve seen this happen more than once lately.
I’ve never had a problem, because I have my computer set to “delete browsing history” every time I close the internet.
It can be annoying, sometimes, because it doesn’t save my user names, etc on some sites….but it’s worth the trouble.
My computer has been much nicer to me since clicking that little option.

The log-IN was fine – it was the log-OUT that didn’t work for me.

They should stay off the drugs. A normal non-crack technical team would have done better.
BTW, they need to fix the “Comment pages:” bug, where that text shows up before the comments area goes to two or more pages.

Upgrades are sometimes a momentary pain in the neck for the not-too-tech-savvy people like me :D.
As for the trolls, they have their uses, too, at least for me. They make me laugh (with their utter nonsense), they make me cry (with their utter, utter nonsense) and they also make me splutter my coffee on the keyboard with their out-of-this-world nonsense.
Do I miss getalife then? She/he who had made me want to pull my hair so many times with her/his absolute nonsense!
