It should be noted that John McCain also referenced Mao, even if in joking manner. McCain still appears to be drawing a positive analogy to himself. In no way should anyone reference a Totalitarian tyrant in such a way. Dunn's use is far more concerning since she appears to be in philosophical agreement with Mao, and hold some sort of Existential Marxist view of the world.
