I’m no fan of Hillary Clinton, but she had THAT right. The American Left didn’t listen to her then, and voted for HopeyChange, but the people of Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India were listening, the honest ones with trepidation, and the troublemakers with delight.

Obama fiddles while Afghanistan falls and Iran builds a nuke…chances are Hillary will bail out of the Administration like a rat from a sinking ship, to save whatever credibility she has left, and run in 2012. If the Democrats lose the House in 2010, they might realize they made a huge mistake with Obama, and rally around Hillary (and Bill) Clinton in order to save the party.

They’re impatient and were over the Clintoons long ago.

I don’t know. Jimmy Carter was such a fuck-up that his approval ratings were in the mid-20s in late 1979, before the Iran hostage situation. Ted Kennedy announced his candidacy in November.

Because she might be remembered for being that and not the wife of an impeached President whose impeachment was the result of lying about an extramarital affair.

I thought that her unbelievably embarrassing ‘reset’ idiocy, displayed so publicly in front of the whole world, did that. I still can’t believe it. I never had much respect for her intellect (though that “Primary Colors” movie painted a picture of a very competent, if twisted, thinker) but that ‘reset’ fiasco just blew me away. That was even dumber than most of the things The Precedent has done, which is no mean feat. A little nostalgia:

GENEVA, March 6 (Reuters) – U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton presented Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov with a red “reset button” to symbolise improved ties, but the gift drew smiles as the word “reset” was mistranslated into the Russian for “overcharge”.

“I would like to present you with a little gift that represents what President Obama and Vice President Biden and I have been saying and that is: ‘We want to reset our relationship and so we will do it together,” said Clinton, presenting Lavrov with a palm-sized yellow box with a red button.

Clinton joked to Lavrov: “We worked hard to get the right Russian word. Do you think we got it?”

“You got it wrong,” said Lavrov, smiling as the two pushed the reset button together before dinner at a Geneva hotel.

He told Clinton the word “Peregruzka” meant “overcharge”, to which Clinton replied: “We won’t let you do that to us.”

I still laugh whenever I read that. The whole friggin’ State Department. …

I think she’s trying to escape from the ‘reset’ moment, now (imagine the ads you would run – the sniper dodging and the ‘reset’).

Shrillary is toast, but she’s just dumb enough to run again, anyway.

She knows where the bodies are buried – and if there aren’t any bodies, she knows who to call to get some. The one thing I can say about Billy Jeff and his bride…they lie,they cheat, they’re total thugs – but they’re very, very good at it.
I promise you, she’s taking notes on ol’ Barry. If she wanted to run in 2012, she’d know exactly where his vulnerabilities were, and how to exploit them to her advantage. I would put nothing, at all, past her.

Dirt on Obama is NOT going to make AA’s turn from him; they’re with him until the end. In fact, if Hillary or her surrogates even tried to filter dirt on him, they’d be the first ones suspected and the AA community will turn on her. It’s exactly what happened in 2008. DO NOT underestimate Obama’s ability to make the fight even dirtier.

And if you think dirt on Obama will cause the progressive left to vote for Hillary, you’re wrong. They just won’t show up to vote. Check out the progressive blogs; they HATE the Clintons, Hillary in particular. Right now, they hate Obama, too, but these are principled activists who aren’t going to vote for an insider and Hillary, to them, is the ultimate insider.

Hillary is shrewd. She’s been in battle with Obama and she knows first-hand how dirty he and his surrogates play the game. She finally ran into someone who plays dirtier than the Clinton’s.

Nah, she’s not running in 2012 and I highly doubt she’ll run in 2016. Perhaps one day she’ll run for Governor, but I think she retires as SOS.

Hillary, didn’t you write your thesis on Saul Alinsky, a man you looked up to and thought was a political genius?

Hillary, don’t you think that shouting at the audience of bewildered Kenyans embarrassed the United States?

Hillary, why did you agree to go to work for a man who hates this country and everything it stands for? Further, how could you whore yourself out to further his traitorous agenda?

Hillary, how could you ever live down giving the Russians a button you thought said “reset”?

Hillary, how could you fail to support a democractically elected president in Honduras over his thug predecessor?

Hillary, how could you have failed to let your boss sanction Iranians getting slaughtered in the street while they fought a tyrannical regime?

Hillary, will you cry again when the poll numbers don’t look good in future elections?

Hillary, with all the millions you and Bill made off with and made through the WH, how come you haven’t had lipo to suck out those cankles?

Suggestion: go over to Ace’s and read the eel story. Hillary will retire a bit less gracefully than that eel. Okay, a lot less gracefully.
