In perhaps the most exclusive after-work, backyard basketball game ever, the president recruited players from the ranks of the executive branch and Congress to play on the converted tennis court on the White House’s South Lawn.

The group played 10 games over about two hours, with everyone switching teams throughout, said Representative Michael Arcuri, a New York Democrat and one of the participants. Arcuri, 50, was a forward on his high school team.

IRVINE, Calif. USA – October 5, 2009 – A recently published administration document outlines a structure that could result in closures of sport fishing in salt and freshwater areas across America. The White House created an Interagency Oceans Policy Task Force in June and gave them only 90 days to develop a comprehensive federal policy for all U.S. coastal, ocean and Great Lakes waters. Under the guise of ‘protecting’ these areas, the current second phase of the Task Force direction is to develop zoning which may permanently close vast areas of fishing waters nationwide. This is to be completed by December 9, 2009.

They plan to put all fishing under direct White House control:

The report makes it clear that future authority for implementing the policy for coastal and inland waters will fall under White House jurisdiction with a new National Ocean Council comprised of over 20 federal agencies at Cabinet Secretary or Deputy Secretary level. No reference to Congressional jurisdiction is indicated.

Bozo is out to systematically dismantle every aspect of our culture.

Not at all. All of this, and all of you too, is just a part of an incredibly lucid dream I’m having.

I know that in few hours, I’ll awake, get up and get dressed as I have done for many years. Only this morning, I’ll drive over to the high school, and cast my vote for Palin.

Uh…the beer summit was clearly damage control. It’s not a legal entry on the “got’er done” side of the list.

I thought I’d mash-up two articles getting a lot of attention in the blogosphere. The first is Thomas Edsall’s good (mostly) article on liberal media bias. And how liberals in the media should stop pretending they’re not liberal, stop lying,……

but it looks like the grade was actually part of Time’s “First 100 Days” package. I was fooled by the date on the upper right, which I thought was the date of publication but actually turns out to be today’s date. No idea why he would have earned an A- by May either, but it was more defensible at the time than it was before the long slide towards 10 percent unemployment and the ObamaCare meltdown. Sorry for the error.

since we can’t see the old-old grades, then we just have to recycle the “old” grades. there are no new grades yet, ed. Didn’t you see the SNL skit last week, he hasn’t handed in any assignments.

The real reason the America-hating committee awarded The One The Prize is to “honor” him for running around the world trashing and apologizing for the American people and our “arrogant” nation. He also received the award for coddling America’s enemies while distancing himself and our nation from our trusted allies. He also received the award for his efforts to systematically destroy our nation from the inside out. He is getting the award for his attempts to dismantle our system of government, destroy capitalism, and weaken our defenses to make us vulnerable from internal and external threats. Putting all that aside, the number one reason for the committee selecting Barry was his premeditated assault to weaken the U.S. Dollar to a point that it will no longer be the world standard currency – especially if OPEC decides to go off the dollar in favor of a basket of “world currencies” which would be an unmitigated disaster with our dependence on foreign oil and the lack of readily available miracle “green” alternatives. The sickening part about this move is that neither Obama, Geitner, nor the Treasury Department is doing anything so shore up the dollar or fight for the dollar. So now Obama gets to go back to Scandinavia and pick up an award in Norway after losing the Olympics in Denmark. In many ways, with his lack of accomplishments, receiving the Nobel Peace Prize may be an even bigger embarrassment for Barry.

By the way, anyone can be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. When Clinton was whoring for the award, Rush Limbaugh joked how even he was nominated for the prize. Now that Barry has won it, perhaps there is hope for these two nominees. At least Rush should have a shot at it!

Another illustration that may make this easier to comprehend — I have a female Golden Retriever who is the beta female to end all beta females. Whenever she meets another dog her first reaction is to drop to the ground, roll over on her back and expose her throat to the other dog. In dog language that means, “I come in peace. I’m not looking for trouble. I surrender and submit to your authority.” One could easily argue that by these actions she is promoting “peace” (to date no dog has ripped her throat out).

Good illustration–I have a male Golden Retriever that does the same thing, which I call “Omega Dog”. Although he’d probably high-tail it out of there if he met a Doberman or a pit bull.

The problem with Obama is that, on the international scene, he can’t tell the Golden Retrievers from the Dobermans, and will likely get his throat ripped out as he contemplates his glory on high.
