I hate to say it but I am glad I am older. I won't have to watch this play out to an evil end. For a long time, I have been watching the toxic poisons of the sixties finally coalesce into this crap congress and president.

I always have respected the Office of the President, but no more. He ain't my president and he ain't an American President. Fascism is not about to happen. It has happened. The generation that told me "security suck" now wants a totalitarian government to give them total security. What they'll get is communist crap. A revolution always eats its children.

LOL even polling more indies than Republicans shows Obamunistcare is a loser. Reality is that 75% of the people do not want the wackos who say the Taliban are our allies running healthcare.

You cannot trust insane people. They are, after all, insane.

The supporters of Obamacare are
1)typified by the people in Detroit who are standing in line to apply for free money from Obama's "stash." "That's why we voted for him...O-Ba-Ma, O-Ba-Ma!" And
2) the academics who have been brainwashed by the public school system and are now brainwashing others.

Funny; two other recent polls have results different than Pew:

Latest from Gallup:

October 5, 2009
In U.S., Opposition to Healthcare Legislation Drops Modestly Support holds steady at 51%, while percentage unsure risesby Jeffrey M. Jones
PRINCETON, NJ -- Americans' views on healthcare legislation have shifted modestly over the past three weeks, with a slight plurality (40%) now supporting the passage of a new healthcare bill, and with fewer (36%) saying they oppose a new bill. When the leanings of those without an opinion are taken into account, 51% of Americans favor or lean toward favoring a bill, while 41% oppose it or lean toward opposition -- a more sizeable gap in favor than three weeks ago.

Latest AP poll: The latest Associated Press-GfK poll has found that opposition to Obama's health care remake dropped dramatically in just a matter of weeks. Still, Americans remain divided over complex legislation that Democrats are advancing in Congress.

The public is split 40-40 on supporting or opposing the health care legislation, the poll found. An even split is welcome news for Democrats, a sharp improvement from September, when 49 percent of Americans said they opposed the congressional proposals and just 34 percent supported them.

only 34% approve. That sample included a 11-point split favoring Democrats over Republicans, 34%-23%, with 37% independents:

If they want the numbers to go over 50, they are going to have to stop polling republicans altogether.

I’m not sanguine — the dems have the votes and the hubris to push it all thru and over a year to fix it with the gullible voters! We’s gonna get gov-mint health care!

When they cram this through without letting folk read it or the CBO cost it they will lose a LOT of seats next year if the republicans do not cave and pound the drum..

He doesn't need another prime time speech.

These asshats are going to pass this legislation, regardless of polls and any public sentiment.

If they were interested in the least about public opinion on this, they would have readdressed this whole issue by now or dropped it completely.

But what about 2010 you'd ask? Simple. The Dems don't care. If they did, see reasoning from last paragraph.

It's coming and pardon my French, but they are going to f*ck us at the drive-through.

He's gonna get the bill. This won't be a Waterloo. Power is power, and the Democrats have no problem wielding it.

Those who are dooming and glooming it and apparently seeing some handwriting on the wall that I can't see yet, I challenge you: stop looking at this problem we have in our government through your eyes. You are only human. You can only see a portion of the story. Stop talking about the problem. If you are people of faith AT ALL, stop talking about the problems and amplifying them and start PRAYING. If you can't pray then SHUT IT and let those of us who ARE PRAYING pray without this interference from you! Things are moving. You can't see them because you already in your minds have the deal signed sealed and delivered when it isn't a done deal yet. The fat lady hasn't sung. Just exercise your freedom of religion and pray. Practice the quality that makes this nation great--a little optimism--and make positive declarations (remember that word?) about the future of this country. Yes our freedoms are under attack but we are Americans. We are by nature optimists. And if you look at our movies you will see the faith we place on our ability to overcome.(here's a hint: the little guy ALWAYS rises above the oppressor and WINS!) Pay attention to our own mythology. How many lunatics are there in government versus how many of us out here in the real world? They're saying "yes we can/we won." We're saying "NO YOU CAN'T/NOT FOR LONG." Come on people. The trigger hasn't even been pulled yet and you're breathing your last! Your thoughts determine your outcome. Your words are a binding contract. Think about it! Please...

Funny how all you hear from Dems is…that the majority of Americans want this healthcare bill.

Obviously, if any pollster shows that a majority of Americans don't want Obamacare, they're lying traitors. It's really quite simple to understand.

Obama - "Let me be crystal clear. Any blue dog who votes for this will be a pariah in your district until you die. So, you must vote for it anyway."

Yes. Good idea. I believe Barry should be on TV 24/7, enlightening the world. This is our only hope for salvation.
