MSNBC host: Conservatives willing to see half the country die if it’ll hurt Obama
posted at 6:32 pm on October 5, 2009 by Allahpundit
Not the first time that the GOP’s opposition to ObamaCare has been described on MSNBC as driven by wanting people dead. Good work, Ratigan; you’d fit right in at 10 p.m. This is part of the left’s ongoing post-Copenhagen catharsis — see Krugman’s piece today for another shining example — in which six years of treating Bush as some nascent Hitler is washed away in fake outrage at conservatives daring to chuckle at the modern-day Pericles getting stuffed in Denmark. This Politico piece rounds up the theatrics while, naturally, omitting any evidence of hypocrisy. A reminder from Ace: The tool who said this last week –
Moulitsas was more blunt. “So when did wingnuts start cheering against America? Their unbridled joy at losing out to Brazil is a bit unseemly, isn’t it?” he asked, adding: “America, f—- yeah!” has become “F—- America, Yeah!”
– is the same lowlife who notoriously said this when American contractors got ambushed and mutilated in Iraq five years ago:
Let the people see what war is like. This isn’t an Xbox game. There are real repercussions to Bush’s folly.
That said, I feel nothing over the death of merceneries. They aren’t in Iraq because of orders, or because they are there trying to help the people make Iraq a better place. They are there to wage war for profit. Screw them.
They were delivering food at the time. Follow the link to Ace for his rejoinder about the Daley machine, which is brutal and perfectly apt. Meanwhile, the left can riddle me this: If conservatives have devolved to an un-American knee-jerk position of opposing Obama on everything, where are all these polls and news stories coming from asserting — quite rightly — that Republicans will be his life raft if he chooses to escalate in Afghanistan? How is it that it’s unpatriotic to laugh about Daley and his cronies not getting to feed from the Olympic trough but it’s not unpatriotic to oppose a war that The One himself has called a “war of necessity” repeatedly? Click the image to watch.

Obama Doodle went to Washington town
A-riding on an Acorn Pony
Stuck a feather in his cap
And called any charges of connection to ACORN, racist baloney
Obama Doodle, keep it up
Obama Doodle dandy
Mind the music and the step
And with the ACORN criminals walk hand in handy
Obama Doodle’s got a new AG
Working day and night to keep away the light
Armed with plenty of his favorite Chicago crew
To all the country’s criminal’s delight
Obama Doodle, keep it up
Obama Doodle dandy
Mind the music and the step
And with the ACORN Criminals walk hand in handy

Rollin’ Rollin’ Rollin’
Keep their crimes a movin’, movin’, movin’,
Though the law abiding folks are disapprovin’,
Keep ACORN operatin’, Crimehide!
Don’t try to catch ‘em,
They’ll be free from federal prosecution so just forget ‘em,
Soon they’ll again be living high and wide.
Boy their hearts are a calculatin’
All the new crimes that will be waitin’, be waiting at the end of their ride.
Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’
Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’
Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’
Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’

Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’
Though so many laws are being broken
Keep Obama’s crime family rollin’

The comments coming out of these loons are more over-the-top than Palin’s “death panel” comments ever could be. At least Palin was speaking the truth about the ultimate result of the end-of-life counseling advocated in that bill. This crap is just lunatic ranting and raving.

After drinking a potion of Saul Alinsky’s, Jeremiah Wright’s, Rahm Emanuel’s, David Axelrod’s, Michelle Obama’s and his own creation, Barry is transformed into the cruel, remorseless, pathological, misanthropic, pyromaniac Herr Hussein, representing the hidden side of Obama’s dual nature brought to the fore. Barry has many dimwitted friends in the old media and to them has a pleasing personality, but as Herr Hussein he becomes more and more dictatorial, more and more devious, encourages violence and becomes ever more fascist like as time goes by as Herr Hussein grows in dominance. After taking this potion repetitively, he will no longer need to rely upon it to unleash his inner fascist demons.

This is par for the course for MSNBC, so not surprising to me. The funniest thing I saw at the gym was CNN actually doing about a 4-minute piece on “fact checking” the SNL skit about zer0bama accomplishing jack and squat. They said the skit was inaccurate…lol. I kid you not! Then, they had a round table discussion on it. Bwahahahaha. Axelrod and his boy are really thin skinned, and it’s obvious they gave marching orders to the dinosaur media.

The Left has no sense of humor, especially when they’re the brunt of it. Look at Leftist ‘humor’ in the first place, which is full of foul language. Bill Cosby never goes to such ugly places; he’s creative. Most others, like Carlin, can’t avoid being crude.
The Left takes itself too seriously. And that’s funny as humor can ever get.

This is utter B.S. I vividly recall some very ugly things said about Trig by the left during the election. They trashed his very being and accused Palin of being a bad person for bringing him into the world. Go peddle your crap somewhere else turd.

The matter came up, FROM YOUR SIDE, that Palin should have had an abortion in that matter. Not all of you blogged such a thing, but NOT ONCE did that sick notion ever come up from our side.
Never, either, did anyone on the Left that I know of argue agaist that view made only from the Left. So, using your own standard, you’re all guilty of wanting to abort a Down’s baby. Just like anyone of us, as you claim, is a Nazi for opposing Obama.
Liam on October 5, 2009 at 7:52 PM

lovingmyUSA on October 5, 2009 at 7:54 PM
I haven’t heard anyone hoping the economy will continue to get worse. I’m sure you can find some fringe blogger who does, but I’ve yet to hear any prominent person on the rights say such a thing.
Presuming? Well, is it a presumption if you predict failure because of a fundamental difference in your view of economic rules, and then that prediction comes true?
So is it your contention that if one doesn’t believe that higher taxes, higher regulation, higher spending, etc… are the path to economic growth, then you are somehow unpatriotic?
Keith_Indy on October 5, 2009 at 7:58 PM
And they hate it! Which is why they need to keep moving their goalposts. Thankfully, we don’t let them escape their own words, which further inflames their insanity.
I have come to believe liberals are really needless, like horses for an M1 main battle tank. Liberals seem to be an anachronism in the 21st Century.
Liam on October 5, 2009 at 8:00 PM
As a staunch conservative, I want and require the economy to get better, for the betterment of all Americans. I want chance to prosper, and I want my neighbor to become wealthy, too, no matter his Faith or color. I don’t care, either, if he’s gay or anything else the Left thinks is somehow ‘oppressed’. I want prosperity for every fellow Citizen much as I wish it for myself.
That’s the difference between conservatives like me and liberals. Liberals want to take. I want the takers defeated politically, so all of us may prosper. My neighbor’s wealth doesn’t affect my life, so I have no wish he lose any of what he or she has earned by the sweat of his or her brow. If I’m somehow envious of my neighbor, then it’s incumbent on me to rise to his/her occasion and/or level. I want to see my neighbors wealthy like I wish to also be.
Liberal would take from them. And that’s unfair.
Liam on October 5, 2009 at 8:10 PM
C’mon on now ya’ll. That’s no way to talk. Liberals were nothing but sparkle sunshines to George W. Bush.

I have reached that same conclusion. They are “centralizers” in a world that wants to “decentralize”. Humanity has suffered enough from “top-down” bureaucratic decision-making and centralized planning. Look at every plank of their platform: it involves more power in DC.
They’re useless on other scores as well, of course.

They seem to be even worse that that. Years ago, I watched the Socialist Party declare itself before a presidential election (1992, I think) and it was same as the Democrat platform.
Those people are really the dinosaurs. Marx is soooo retro, he’s 19th Century. Liberals are throwbacks and, really, they don’t even understand Marx let alone themselves or what they believe. They move goalposts like bratty children who want something but they don’t truly know what they want. It’s perpetual whining that isn’t meant to reach a true end.
If they get all they want, expect they’ll find more to bitch about even if they have to make it all up; they’ll conjures demons of their own imagination. Even, and possibly especially, if the centralize everything with them at the center, they’ll remain perpetually offended. How to deal with people like that?
They can never be appeased, let alone satisfied. And real Marxists know that.
Guess who gets shot before we conservatives if America goes socialist?

Why do we feel the need to respond to this garbage? It just seems like we give these bottom-feeders credibility when we respond to their crap. Most decent Americans are fed up with the BS coming from the left. They have listened to it for the last eight years and counting. My mother, a former lifelong democrat said she’s fed up with the left. She was outraged at Grayson’s remark about republicans just wanting people to die quickly. She said she was embarrassed to have ever been a democrat. She’s not alone.
Tell me why we should respond to this trash. Seriously.

Yet, you catch a Democrat recommending a policy that anyone with even a passing knowledge of the history of socialism can find an analogy for in socialist literature of the past, and when you accuse the Dem of “socialism”, it’s somehow racist. Or, because they don’t follow a particular brand of socialism to the letter, they can’t be socialists. Pedantic obscurantism in the service of political obfuscation.
Like clockwork, as soon as the financial crisis hit, there were articles about Marx “predicting it all”. To them, Marx is as fresh as yesterday’s headlines, even as the parts of the world that actually implemented Marx’s ideas, filtered through their own local conditions, of course, strive to leave him behind.
There’s definitely something psychological about their condition. The irony is that it is something psychological that could only have developed in the context of an advanced Western society, which they constantly denigrate. Part of it is self-loathing, which is something that’s always existed. But, there’s also a particular blindness to the lack of substance for any of the alternatives they put forth to the hatred they have for their external environment. At least in the old days, someone who felt self-loathing and lashed out at their society had something real to complain about. What do these people have to complain about? They live in the most well-fed, entertained, sheltered and powerful society in the history of the world. They actually think they can improve upon this? Pure hubris.
Some kind of quarantine system. Let them scream it out behind padded walls.
Can’t make a new world without breaking a few useful idiots.
venividivici on October 5, 2009 at 8:59 PM
Waiting for cogent, on-point answers from either CRR6 or AnninCa is a low-probability-of-success mission.

These puns today claim Marx, but they just want to fight everything before them when Marx wanted a solid conclusion. He had values, really, though they conflict with mine.
I hate saying this, but these current ‘communists’ will be shot by their installed masters before conservatives like even Rush will be exterminated.

Another “meta-comment”, i.e. a comment that makes no substantive criticism of the comment it’s directed to and could just as easily have been made about any random comment dealing with what you deem “pop-psychology”. I mean, usually when one finds something “hilarious”, one can at least point to some defining characteristic of the hilarity.
Do you have something of substance to say or no? Since the answer in the past has been no, I’m not going to hold my breath.

They’re “salon socialists”, a.k.a. “limousine liberals”. Part of the problem is that with the loss of blue-collar jobs in the industrialized West, they’ve lost the proletariat they were going to gloriously lead to a revolutionary new day. So sad.
venividivici on October 5, 2009 at 9:30 PM
Again, this is a non-critique critique. First you throw out a question as though the answer were obvious. Second, you name-drop someone who’s notorious for non-substantive discourse (Oprah). Then, you claim you’ve made some substantive criticism without having made one and round it out with a little snark.
Piss-poor. You get an F.

Sounds nice, but frankly I don’t have time now. If you see me posting on a weekend afternoon ask me again, I’m generally more free then.
crr6 on October 5, 2009 at 9:39 PM
No, in your case, I don’t think it’s an “oral fixation”, it’s definitely “anal”. Hence, the feces-throwing characteristics inherent in your posts. Unless I’ve misdiagnosed and it’s oral and anal. Tell me, have you ever acted on your fantasy of eating your own sh*t or has it remained a fantasy?
venividivici on October 5, 2009 at 9:40 PM
You post with such conviction, then you run like now when I opened up to have an exchange of ideas. You don’t want a genuine discussion, do you? The thought of that scares you though I was wanting you to change my mind.
You want me to ‘wait’ for the weekend, hoping I might forget so you could restart from a beginning of your own choosing. Problem for you is I don’t forget much.
You attack us, but you have no substance at all for your assumed and measured posture. I offered a genuine debate, to hear you out in an honest discussion without recriminations, and you made excuses to avoid any such thing. I wasn’t out to F you over. I wanted to hear what you believe and to truly TALK with you. I made plain I wasn’t about to devalue you. I wanted to hear what you believe.
Without that discussion I asked, you showed that you don’t believe in a single damned thing with any kind of true commitment.
The time is now, not the weekend. If you can’t elucidate your beliefs on the spot, you’re more a coward than all of France.
Remember, too–the French killed a shitload of Germans in 1940. You couldn’t do so much. I bet you’d fuck up your own suicide if you tried it.
Liam on October 5, 2009 at 9:55 PM

He might consider it a “bourgeois” character trait), attributes Warren Buffett’s success to the government providing a stable economic environment based on high tax rates (I guess it provided it only for Warren and not the other 300 million people who aren’t billionaires) and thinks that limited-government conservatives want something like Somalia here in the US.
But other than that, I’m sure he’s really smart and stuff.

Nah, crr6 doesn’t attack. He/she/it only snarks like a middle-schooler. And like a middle-schooler, when he/she/it tries to play intellectual, he/she/it makes a fool of him/her/itself.

The book…The Ten Myths About Health care…
A gal from Canada wrote it. (Is “gal” sexist? Oh well…)
One of the things that inspired her to write the book and maybe save some lives was watching her Mother die of colon cancer. The Canadian Health Care system sentenced her to death.
Her Mom thought that she might have colon cancer. When she went to the health care folks in Canada, they told her that she was too old for them to spend money on a colonoscopy for her…due to her age…get it?
When she began hemorrhaging…then they spent the bucks on the colonoscopy…when it was too damned late! Oh look! Colon cancer. Too bad we didn’t catch it earlier on. See ya!
You want that crap? Fine. Move to Canada. Don’t drag me and the rest of America down into that Hell with you.
Obama is a liar and Truth is
killing his Marxist agenda.

I think it’s pretty much a proven fact the crr666 doesn’t even know how to read.

Sorry, coming in late, but it seems to me that MSNBC gets more viewers here at Hot Air than they do on TV. If we played a clip everytime one of them said something stupid we might as well become MSNBCHA.

I won’t even try to lecture you since it’s a lost cause.
How much is Axelrod paying you anyway?
SagebrushPuppet on October 5, 2009 at 10:46 PM
So their viewership has increased?
SagebrushPuppet on October 5, 2009 at 10:58 PM
Whatever it is, it’s too much.

Whatever Axelrod’s paying you, he ain’t getting his money’s worth.
SagebrushPuppet on October 5, 2009 at 11:10 PM

So many Americans are glad to see Obama put in his place by the IOC after months of liberals clamoring on about how great he is and there constant Messiah worship of him and all the liberals have is “blame Bush” and ” Republicans hate America”.
This on the heels of calling Americans “nazis” and “extremist” because they want their voices heard at town hall meetings.Town hall meetings where democrats perpetrated all the violence of beating people down in the streets and biting off fingers.
This on the heels of Rep.(D) Grayson saying “Republicans just want Americans to die” and comparing the debate over health care to the “Holocaust”.
When are liberals going to start taking THEIR OWN ADVICE:
Nancy Pelosi
Sept. 19, 2009
Obama in Minneapolis,
Sept.12, 2009
–Hillary Clinton
Dissent didn’t stop being Patriotic on Jan.20 liberals.

That’s because there’s not a government program for it. It’s really asking too much for folks to take responsibility for their own suicide.

I watched Dylan Ratigan for a time when he was on Fast Money. I don’t watch him now on MSNBC. I watched FM from Sept to March of this year when he left, and then I stopped watching. I liked him. I never heard him take a shot like that at republicans on FM. MSNBC must have really gotten into him. Sad. Poor fellow.

@crr6 : Well I should hope you jack up your own suicide if you try it. So don’t try it. Okay? Find your way back to someplace instead.
@Liam : The rest of the post was quite good actually. You blew a gasket here at the end. But you’ve made good points in this thread elsewhere.
