Palin responds to Steve Schmidt: Just wait for the book, chump
posted at 6:47 pm on October 2, 2009 by Allahpundit
Dude, it’s going to be epic. Epic.
A spokeswoman for the former Alaska governor said Palin is holding her fire until her new book is released next month.
“The governor will write about all of this in her book,” Palin spokeswoman Meg Stapleton said in an e-mail, referring to the internal fighting that marred the final weeks of McCain’s president bid. “There will be plenty of time to talk about it then.”
I’m downright giddy at the prospect of high traffic and abundant content from November 17 until … forever. Maybe we’ll set up a little Hot Air book club, where I’ll periodically express my treasonous RINOish doubts about some of the things she says in there so that you guys can enjoy catharsis by telling me what a horrifying candy-ass I am. Two million hits a day or bust, baby. Meanwhile, Todd Palin’s finally upped and quit his job as a production operator for an oil company, which could be due either to (a) boredom and/or a desire to earn more in another profession, or (b) the fact that his family bank account will likely hit eight digits before Christmas. Enjoy retirement, Mr. P!

AP – since you don’t have children I guess you didn’t consider that he might have quit to help care for his kids if she’s going to be doing speeches or a bool tour? That’s was a good dad might do.

Ripping Steve Schmidt a new one is like shooting fish in a barrel. Hell, it’s more like looking at fish in a barrel. Takes even less effort than shooting them.

You just throw us the threads we love to comment on, despite your disdain, then relish in the bloodsport? Either way, it’s brilliant.

AP has obviously no idea about the oil industry.
Better paying job than a production manager on the North Slope for an oil company? He would need to become a sports super star.
Jim708 on October 2, 2009 at 7:09 PM
I’m a secular conservative, too, and I love Sarah Palin.
I think people need to drop the whole RINO thing. It’s fairly obvious AP is after clicks and has found the winning formula. Besides, the GOP is out of touch.. who wants to be associated with them anyway? The past 8 years have not exactly been a model of fiscal conservatism.

AP doesn’t seem to be boned-up on a lot of stuff he blogs about (e.g. religion), but I don’t hold that against him.
There are some things more attractive than money. You think Bill Clinton spent his entire adult life in pursuit of the presidency for money? It’s the power, ladies and gentlemen. And I think Palin’s got more of that right this second than a lot of people give her credit for.
