Hollywood entertainers are just court jesters people! Their values are twised, they are insulated from the real world and most are perverts.
That being said, pay your $10.00 to be entertained if you must but don't listen to or live vicariously through these fools. While there are a few good entertainers here and there, most are really messed up. Not for public consumption!

Leftists in Hollyweird are some of the biggest scumbags on the planet. I live 50 miles northwest of Hollyweird and I can FEEL the scumbaggery from here.
So much for blacklists, huh? Here is a list of some of the CONSERVATIVES in Hollyweird who have been Blacklisted for their political views.
Robert Duvall
Jackie Mason
Chuck Norris
Kelsey Grammer
Tom Selleck
James Woods
Stephen Baldwin
Angie Harmon
This is just to name a few on the GEORGE CLOONEY led blacklist. Didn't Clooney make a movie about blacklists during the 1950's? Oh yeah, it's OK to be a hypocrite, Georgie, they're just Conservatives.

Maybe, per Hollywood culture, the Polanski 13 year old rape victim was to have kept quiet and entered show business so the arts community could have collectively supported her with jobs and perks in the tradition of the casting couch? A la Nastassja Kinski, whom Polanski seduced at the age of 15. Did the 13 year old break Hollywood's (NEA's) unwritten code of community bailouts for sins by spilling the beans at the time the rape occurred and not in her memoirs decades later, and making Polanski pay personally with a civil suit and thereby thumbing her nose at every producer and director in town? It simply isn't done.

I'm not sure why, but every time someone supports Polanski or downplays his Champagne and Qualude, rape and sodomy, hot tub afternoon delight, I imagine Sonya M. buried up to her waist being stoned to death.

The DVD for Kazan's brilliant A FACE IN THE CROWD has a documentary with interviews of folks involved. Kazan's naming names is mentioned, and Budd Schulberg, the movie's screenwriter, lays out a very personal defense of Kazan I'd never seen mentioned: Schulberg and Kazan went to a big writers' congress thing for Communists back in the day, and befriended lots of Soviet Communist writers, were inspired by them, got their minds blown exchanging ideas and leftist ideals, heard their rousing speeches --

Then Schulberg and Kazan went home, and over the years pretty much every single one of those writers they'd befriended and admired were murdered or sent to the gulag by the regime in which Kazan and Schulberg had put their faith, and Kazan saw his stateside Communist buddies excuse each murder and incarceration as being necessary and heroic action by the Party.

In answer to your question, yes. I do. I would suggest to you that you read what you write before you press the “Submit Comment” button and ask yourself: “Is it possible that someone might misunderstand what I’m saying?”

Typing slowly only works if you’re able to read what you write.

Annin - Plea Deals can be made by the prosecution, but the judge is never under an obligation to accept them. He/she usually does, but not always. Polanski would have been told this by the prosecution and/or his defense lawyer. Celebrity entitlement probably played a role if he didn't take the possibility seriously.
-
Thacker - I don't know you, but I've seen your comments on several Polanski threads for several days. I think you really need to take some time to examine why it is you are so fervent in your support of Polanski and trying to see this as a statutory rape case when it was a rape case first and foremost. This is obviously not just about the Polanski case to you.

Annin – Plea Deals can be made by the prosecution, but the judge is never under an obligation to accept them. He/she usually does, but not always. Polanski would have been told this by the prosecution and/or his defense lawyer. Celebrity entitlement probably played a role if he didn’t take the possibility seriously.
Thacker – I don’t know you, but I’ve seen your comments on several Polanski threads for several days. I think you really need to take some time to examine why it is you are so fervent in your support of Polanski and trying to see this as a statutory rape case when it was a rape case first and foremost. This is obviously not just about the Polanski case to you.

Remind me not to let you anywhere near my daughter, or my dogs for that matter.

If this was a serious comment, you are in desperate need of help. I seriously hope that you can get it.

Just because a child grows up, a crime committed against that child does not transform into a crime committed against an adult. But even if it did, rape is a vile crime. It’s vile against a child. It’s vile against an adult. And even if that weren’t so vile, he still fled to avoid the consequences of his actions.

So, let me recap. His crime was against a child. That crime was rape. And he is a coward.

Do you effing dopes even read these posts before you blow your cork? The point is and I’ll type slowly so you understand is this: The elites excuse Polanski for a violent attack on a minor, but they want to eviscerate Vick for killing dogs. See how simple that was? Now STFU.

Sometimes sarcasm doesn't carry in text. You should know this. But since what you wrote so completely resembled what I would expect from a mouth-breather, I believed it. But just in case, I allowed that you might not be serious; see the second sentence.

In answer to your question, yes. I do. I would suggest to you that you read what you write before you press the "Submit Comment" button and ask yourself: "Is it possible that someone might misunderstand what I'm saying?"

Typing slowly only works if you're able to read what you write.

Seriously, all you people going out on a limb here saying that rape of a minor should have a punishment

ThackerAgency on September 30, 2009 at 3:58 PM

- Sounds like what a pedophile might say.

This "ThackerAgency" person seems to believe it is perfectly lawful for adults to rape children.

Unbelievably sick!

it’s not a “grudge” dipstick . . . when an adult male has forced sex with a child he has committed a most vile, disgusting act and must be punished. The passage of time hasn’t effected the character and morals of that dirtbag.

Good old-fashioned sarcasm is wasted on you, stupid.
