Obama is our version of a Supreme Leader, not given to making idle threats, setting idle deadlines, reversing course on momentous issues, creating a TV crisis where none existed or, unbelievably, pitching Chicago for the 2016 Olympics. Obama’s the president. Time he understood that.

But now that he’s traveling to Copenhagen personally to make the pitch Friday, some experts say he better not come home empty-handed.

Maybe Margrethe II will give him some Region 2 DVDs.

The IOC awards the games to Chicago, which makes it look as though Obama got tipped off and set up his trip as a political stunt.

I think this is the most likely although the “first ‘ho” was always planning on going so this seems like overkill. The filthy lying coward wants to be the hero that wins over the IOC to the charms of Chicago. It will be a coup for political spoils that will be legendary in a city that thrives on corruption.

I would like to see the Olympics here but not in Chicago. Even Dave Matthews dumps his Raw Sewage in Chicago……. If Chicago is our choice, send it to Japan.

A local TV station that reported on Chicagoans NOT wanting the Olympics has been told NOT to run the report again, insiders tell the DRUDGE REPORT!

Well, I don’t know about the Olympics or what choice will be made chiefly because I don’t know the facts or who will make the selection.

We all have an idea about our national defense and the policy maker who is in charge there.

Anyone who believes that Afghanistan is not a done deal needs to take a good look at our Dear Leader without the scales provided by the liberals and a few drone blasts near Pakistan and the successful Navy Seal attack on the Somali pirates.

His programs need money and the comments about the necessity for the Afghan war were just like many other noises coming from The One. I would ask that you look at the radical, and even sinister side of our Leader in light of His past and the general run of His actions to date.

Why should he talk to any soldiers? You don’t listen to the cries of the drowning as you walk away.

It will take a strong political wind to move Him from the path on which he is leading us. There is only decimation, desertion and darkness waiting for for the many who serve our nation and the western ideal of democracy and freedom.

Obama isn’t the President of Chicago, after all; he’s the leader of the free world, with a big decision pending on a war he’s presently supposed to be fighting.

But he wants to be King of the World. Having the Olympics in his “beloved” Chicago is just the first step. (Actually second, chairing the UN Security Council is his first)

Stop knocking the Dells! I just love watching that dog jump the 3 ft from one ridge to the other….

But after sternly lecturing Iran on its international obligations Friday, President Obama didn’t call for sanctions. He called for more negotiations. And then, as the Iranians were spitting in his eye with the missile test, he jetted off to Copenhagen to lobby to have the 2016 Olympics held in Chicago.
No wonder Nicolas Sarkozy holds him in contempt.

Shhh. Nobody’s told him yet.

Really, much ado about nothing. If there is some back alley deal involved, well, of course there is. Still, it’s not a big worry. At least he’s not golfing.

I seriously doubt O would go unless he had a really good idea that it was a done deal. Imagine the fallout if he went (with all that is on his plate right now, and soldiers dying in Afghanistan with an apparently unsupported mission) and Chicago didn’t get it.

Obama reached the level before he took office. Now he’s just acting it out.

Yeah, that was a bit of a dilemma. I went realistic and tried to augment the banner in the inset. I may rework the proportions though…

God stuff BKeyser, but I’d suggest not worrying aout a realistic perspective and make the banner and plane bigger, more readable.
