A US president will take action… after 9 months of telling Iran we are going to war with them. And then we fail to find the enrichment programs or WMD. We still find evidence of mass killings (as in Iraq) and torture chambers. We find evidence of corruption, etc. But the rabid left will claim… (GOP President) is a LIAR. He manufactured it. Forgetting the long history Iran had with all presidents GOP and DNC. Forgetting the countless UN resolutions and the empty promises. Forgetting the mass killings and opression. Forgetting everything good about why we went to war and instead shifting that blame to a decisive US President.

Nah the Israelis will act as they have before in both Syria and Iraq.

Iraq 1990. Invaded Kuwait after lots and lots of consternation. The “world” invaded Iraq and kicked em out of Kuwait… but left Saddam in power.

Iran 2009. Rigs an election and stifles popular unrest. The world condemns, except our President who has already staked part of his presidency on reaching out to the IRNA.

Iraq, 1990s is suspected of developing WMD and is subject to an inspection regime.

Iran, subject to the bumbling idiots at the IAEA… Is Mohamed El Baridei still in charge over there? If he is… No wonder.

We have a leader who has an ideological agenda and a guard that has subjected the civilian populace to horrors, yet the USA does nothing. A leader who threatens Israel and the United States. That leader Saddam Hussein. He wields his WMD (or the belief in WMD) to great effect throughout the entire 1990s and keeps his people under his thumb.

In Iran, same difference except the leader is more rabid and backed by the religion theocracy.

So what happens in 2014 when inspection regimes fail, the people cry out and Iran makes a move on Saudi Arabia?

It it ever did happen, I’d like to think it won’t turn out quite the way the liberals think it’s going to turn out, but that’s just my wishful thinking.
