We’re talking about the same guy right? The guy who had a chance to become the next FDR by passing health care but decided to FIRST expend his political capital on a Nancy Pelosi authored pork spending plan to reward Democratic contributors?

Same guy who allowed what little of his political credibility he had left to be eaten up by Pelosi in whipping the Democrats in the house to pass cap and trade?

The same guy who, while tanking in the polls, keeps bringing up the idea of prosecuting CIA agents who have fought and are fighting for this country and are generally regarded as HERO’s by the population at large?

Are we talking about the same guy who held a press conference to save ObamaCare – but instead killed his whole message when he used to the occasion instead to insult the Cambridge Police Department for acting “stupidly”???

The same guy that picked gaff-a-thon Joe Biden for his running mate and bouncin’ Bob Gibbs for press secretary?

The same guy that picked Van Jones for “Green Czar”??

Are we talking about the same guy here?

Allah – you give this guy too much credit. He’s lost politically on the national scene. He’s a winner in Chicago – but no where else.

I am sure it was far more important to do this than to talk to his commanders in Afganistan, meet with financial advisors to fix the mess, get people back to work and companies producing goods,being tough on Iran…….. but no this dude runs.. he will continue to run from important issues and continue to vote present……. but not accountable. Now the French and British have acknowledged he has made the west weak. How embarrasing for our country. He needs to be out of office.

Let me be the first to predict that Rio will get the 2016 Olympic Games.

Based on the European view of Obama, they will give it to Rio. Obama seems to go out of his way to piss off Gordon Brown and, more importantly, Nicolas Sarkozy with his childish stunts at the UN, etc. This is without even mentioning the Poles, and the Czechs. Saying “No” to a US President will give them special joy.

I have to believe that NBCs revenue jumps more than a little if the event is here as opposed to Rio. There may be host sites that can turn on as many or even more TVs — though I doubt it — but one of the biggest problems they face is people here tuning out because the results are already known.

Chicago pulls all those sets into play.

Well it makes sense. I’m certainly not a fan of teh WON, but what choice did he have. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

On another topic, did you see the video in Chicago of those neanderthols beating up that poor kid. Disgusting. The African American community wonders why everyone has a low opinion of them as a whole, asked and answered. I feel so bad for that poor honor student’s family who did their best to raise their kid right and neanderthols kill him. Send the suburbs the honor students from the hood so they have a fighting chance. Unfortunately the suburbs only get the neanderthols so the urban school’s numbers look better for contract negotiating time for the teachers union. Pathetic.
