Try doing a Google on “Israel Samson Option”. I suspect that if Iran ever actually does something stupid, most of the Middle East (at least the major population centers) will be destroyed. As Israel goes, so shall we. Biblical prophecy.

Thanks, though I am familiar with it. Sampson only works if the other hostile countries can influence the country with the nukes. I strongly doubt any country has any influence over the Iranian government’s actions regarding its nuke weapon program or their usage. What’s the value of nuking Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, etc… if it is Iran firing the nukes? The threat will do nothing to alter the Iranian government’s actions. Hell, it might be a better course of action to get Saudi Arabia’s blessing to nuke Iran first via their airspace. The Sauds have almost as much to lose from a nuclear Iran as Israel.
