TEMS: Kerry Picket, Sean Duffy, Beyond Duty

posted at 1:00 pm on September 24, 2009 by Ed Morrissey

Today, on the Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), we have bonus minutes in store for you! In the first part of the show, Kerry Picket of the Washington Times joins us to cover the political news of the day. In the second part, we talk with Sean Duffy, who will challenge David Obey for his seat in the House next year — and tell you how you can help the current Ashland County District Attorney remove one of the biggest-spending Democrats in Congress. In bonus minutes, we welcome authors Roger Thompson and Captain Shannon Meehan, whose new book Beyond Duty: Life on the Frontline in Iraq gives an uncompromising look at the front lines of the war. Don’t miss a minute of it!

Now you can join the conversation in the chat room! Be sure to register at Ustream to participate in our raucous live-chat sessions. (And if the log-in prompt doesn’t come up in the chat box below, use this link instead.) Jazz Shaw of The Moderate Voice and The Monster moderate the chat, and they have Troll Gun Trivia Contest running before the show, for those who get there early — and are registered!

cool, dig Sean Duffy. Wish I was in the district. Don’t care what some of my friends think, he might have been on the Real World but dude seems to know his stuff.

Sean Duffy and his wife are smart, conservative people.
Sean’s wife Rachel Campos Duffy told Laura Ingraham proudly that her husband is like Todd Palin. I loved that!

I recall when the Real World was actually a good show in those days.

I wish Sean all the best!

I have started watching the B-Cast after TEMS. Yesterday they interviewed Jack Cashill on his theory that Bill Ayers help Obama with his first book. A new book on Obama seems to confirm this. Here is the video:

Here is a post by Cashill:
