I’m impressed, Roy, did you change your profile just to match the “Trigger” “Happy Trails” motif or is it just serendipity?

By that time the issue of Immigration will be the big topic, and that has the potential to negate any potential Republican conservative wins in the house.

On what evidence do you make that claim? When Bush and congress tried to push for immigration “reform” so many calls came in to the houses of congress that it shut down the phone system. People of both parties opposed it, and I would be you a dollar to a box of donuts that those people are also a majority of our tea party folks. In this economy, people are not going to be any more amenable than they were in the summer of 2007.

You know, my brother said some guy David Emory (I haven’t researched) claims that Pelosi is set up to purposely take down Obama. No idea of the motive or anything, but when she keeps doing this kind of stuff it does make you wonder!

Remember when Democrats kept saying that Republicans were going to have to bring back the draft as a tactic to smear Republicans and sabotage the war effort? Now they’re pushing something just as unpopular — and trying to smear Republicans for opposing it. Extreme stupid. Pelosi and crew are sitting on a powder keg and lighting a match.

Pelosi may find out that she just marginalized herself as a party leader — and if she doesn’t realize that soon, she may wind up marginalizing her entire caucus in the midterm elections.
