Breitbart: I thought Bertha Lewis was grateful that we exposed ACORN’s corruption

posted at 10:28 pm on September 24, 2009 by Allahpundit

Yeah, I thought so too. Follow that link and watch the clip — “they sort of did us a good service” — because if this travesty ever makes it to trial, you can rest assured that it’ll end up in the evidence file. That’s one of two key talking points here, touched on in both Breitbart’s clip and the one of Giles from “Hannity” that’s also embedded below. The other is the fact that because ACORN receives taxpayer funding, your money and mine is being used to fund this legal retaliatory strike. Which prompts a question that’s guaranteed to be impressed upon the jury: Who’s acting in the greater “public interest” here? O’Keefe and Giles, by exposing corruption at a publicly supported nonprofit? Or ACORN, by applying the cash they’re supposed to be using to help the poor to suppress the evidence of it?

No surprise, per Breitbart’s aside, that the response to Hannah’s defense fund has been “overwhelming” so far.

I saw this tonight. I think it is interesting about the “investigator” that they appointed website is going after the people doing the undercover work than the cheats and child abusers. Makes me ill!!

Also, I couldn’t stand the guy before or after him that said everyone who oppose Obama is a racist. THat argument is really making me ill.

As I’ve posted on my site, I think the attorneys defending O’Keefe and Giles might be overlooking a couple of good strategies in killing off this ridiculous claim.

But the point of this post is spot-on: what a public relations nightmare from ACORN’s perspective, eh?

Team Barry, ACORN, and the congressional Dems want to suppress anything or anyone who opposes or exposes their pet projects, nefarious associations, or unethical and illegal activities. The national gag order will be fait accompli if the FCC’s Diversity czar, Mark Lloyd gets his way.

Speaking of Acorn, Cons need to get a grip of themselves. This is why you all continue to lose elections and revert back to blogs like this to vent your frustration. No one cares about Acorn. There is too much going on for you to put Acorn front and center.

We have clear plans. Cutting the personal tax rates, the corporate tax rates, as well as the capital gains tax rates would provide real stimulus to the economy, as well as produce more tax revenue than Obama is going to get through his “soak the rich” strategy. Drilling off-shore and in ANWAR to provide the abundant, and cheaper energy an unleashed economy would need to come roaring back from the layers of wet blankets the Obama administration has dumped on it. Get serious about bringing the deficit down, which wouldn’t be as hard with record tax revenues coming in, and get the currency situation back to normal, so we don’t have to worry about a) the Chinese pulling our credit card, or b) the G8 to decide to dump the dollar as the reserve currency. You all were so worried about Europe thought about Bush. But what they hell could they do to us–fart in our general direction? I’m a lot more worried about what China thinks of our fiscal policies under Obama & Co. Next eliminate the IRS, and go with the Fair Tax. Once implemented, our tax policies will be so much more favorable to corporations, we’ll be beating them off with a stick, instead of what we have now–corporations leaving to go to Ireland or other places where tax rates are vastly better than here. Oh, we got plans, alright. Just get your whining a$$, and our whining president’s a$$ out of the way.

With the way everyone involved is playing this, I think they may have something bigger on them and the powers that be know it and that’s why they are trying to bluff and sue. Unfortunately for ACORN, they’re bluff is being called and all they have are a pair of deuces (aside from the ones that are about to be in their pants) while Breitbart, Giles, and O’Keefe more than likely have a royal flush (or a full house at least).

Hannah seemed a little detached because there was a second or 2 delay. whatever satellite they were bouncing off of wasn’t real good….

About “nobody caring about Acorn?”
nobody cared about Watergate either. How did that work out for Nixon?

Afrolib has been drinking the Kool Aid too long. He doesn’t understand that we despise Republicans as well when they don’t espouse true conservative principles. Bush wasn’t a conservative and we all were screwed because of it. We despise any politician that tries to set up a nanny state and control every aspect of our lives. From his posts I’ve concluded that person is a TROLL.

I was never a big fan of Beck’s. My dear Aunt adores him (buys the books, wanted me to get tickets for the travelling show, etc.) I always thought he seemed silly. I saw him try to force Ann Coulter to eat chocolate pudding once…AWK-ward. I think what bugs a lot of people about him is that he goes to SUCH lengths to show that he’s just a Regular Guy. Look, I eat M&M’s, Look, I have a paunch! There’s no formality, no third wall there. But like I said, I have to give him credit because behind all the silliness, dude really is going after the bad guys. Now, if your disagreement is based on his definition of who the ‘bad guys’ are, then I have to wonder why you’d be on the site at all.

So, what’s the story with AfroTurd? Obviously not the sharpest cheddar on the cracker, and he used the word “Dummies” so much I felt like I was stuck in an episode of Sanford and Son.

Were I Hannah Giles I would respectfully ask the judge what would be his recommendations with regard to having the prosecutor’s intimidation tactics, malicious prosecution and diversion from ACORN’s misdeeds being sanctioned as “accessory after the fact.”

LOL @ Sanford and Son reference. I’m pretty sure AfroLib is actually a delusional middle-aged white lady with no one else to talk to. I asked him/her/it point-blank once if they were African-American and they disappeared….

Times is way to serious to game; lay it down and learn. Intellectual masturbation only satisfies one, reality demands far more…all we know, have, and cherish is on the line…everything. I’m all in…..what say you?
