That being said, let’s assume the best about the little dictator from Iran. Let’s assume in his statement that he’s NOT denying the holocaust. Let’s give him the benefit of the doubt that, since it was Europeans who committed the holocaust, it should have been the Europeans who gave up the land that would become a jewish state. Let’s speculate what would have happened.

And its very interesting if you think about it. Yesterday, Obama trashed the Israeli settlements as an obstacle to peace. Yet today, he walks out on an anti-semite at the UN bashing Jews.

Notice the distinction. Israel versus Jews. He apparently thinks those two are separate issues. He’s quite ignorant. Israel and Jews are inseparable. What you do to Israel you do to the Jews and vice versa.

Even though the facts tell us different, we keep hoping. Maybe we are just working too hard to try and understand Obama from the point of view that he is just screwing up and acting out the “rookie” part of his administration. More and more we have to work harder to explain what are bigger and bigger missteps. Maybe it isn’t him at all. Maybe it is us, and our good nature. (His treatment of Honduras and his “I wish I knew how to quit you” love affair with Chavez made me see the light. Would you have ever thought our President, the leader of the greatest democratic republic, would work to force a small democratic country into a dictatorship? Ever?)

OT: So it turns out that there is a report tonite that claims that Zelaya was smuggled back into Honduras on a Venezuelan Air force plane that first landed and refueled in leftist El Salvador then made a beeline for the US air base (Soto Cano)in Honduras. From the airbase it looks likes the State department drove him in the dark of night to the Brazilian embassy.

It appears Obama and Chavez are now coordinating their efforts to collapse Honduran democracy. DESPICABLE.

Wait. I thought we were all supposed to be apologizing for implying Obama was involved, since Zelaya was in the Brazilian embassy.

If true, it’s impeachment time. This sort of meddling in another country’s government is grounds for war, and the president needs a declaration of war before engaging in it.
