Quotes of the day

posted at 10:45 pm on September 23, 2009 by Allahpundit

“It was all extremely naïve. The president did everything he could to say: ‘Can’t we all just get along?’”

***
“With Bush, everyone in the world was, just a little bit beneath the surface, a freedom-loving democrat. With Obama, everyone is a peace-loving multilateralist. ‘The yearning for peace is universal,’ Obama said. Of course, so is the yearning for war, or it wouldn’t be endemic to human existence.”

***
“President Obama said during his speech today: ‘For those who question the character and cause of my nation, I ask you to look at the concrete actions we have taken in just nine months.’

So the goodness of America is found in the Obama administration?”

It’s the formerly Old Europe, now rejuvinated

Good to know. I have a question, if you were to make your product overseas, would the low pay to the foreign workers make up for the cost of transportation of your product back to your customers in the U.S.? I have always wondered why things like textiles were sent overseas, is it salary or is it all the taxes and regulations placed on the employer.

I have already written his resignation speech for him.

I am hereby resigning the office of the Presidency. I will then spend some of the rest of my remaining time on earth in trying to forgive himself for making the country worse off when I could have made it better off with the same effort and will spend the rest of my time on earth living with my half brother in Kenya studying horticulture.

I can’t wait to see the ‘approval’ polls after that speech.

The moonbats may be swooning over that filth he uttered but I don’t think it’s going to sweep ‘the masses’ to his banner.

Books are being written tonight all over the world of Obama’s words…

… They will inspire generations to think that the United States of America is not what it truly is, but what George Soros, Barack Hussein Obama, and the Political Left wants you to think that it is.

The dead to correct this child’s ideology will be in the millions…

… Thank God we have a ‘Free and Independent’ Press to point this out to everyone,

for when they have to identify the bloody mist and sagging skin on a rusty post that used to be some one’s child from a bomb going off in middle America,

“Why did this happen?” can be explained…

redshirt on September 23, 2009 at 11:59 PM

There have been a bounty of movies out of lefty-Hollywood made in the last several years, that are now available on Netflix. Sometimes I cringe, sometimes I laugh at the obvious stupidity, other times I just hank the DVD out. So predictable: It’s either an Iraqi G.I., who goes berserk (never one from the war in Afghanistan) or else the plot centers around the U.S. left when BUSH created the Homeland Security Office and how that intruded into our personal lives. ALWAYS the same marvel of characters: One white heroic type, with boxcars full of “white, doughy-faced, inept, red-necked individuals.” The obvious, true-blue, well-balanced, savior is some, articulate, stoic black-man; Can you say, Morgan Freeman, or the likes?

The producers must be scrambling now on how to STILL DESTROY BUSH without compromising the very essence of the complaints, to begin with. How to construct a movie, when all of a sudden, the person to whom they put all of their energy and efforts to destroy, has been eclisped by the most
perverse and lying, dumb, outragious, “voted-in” leader that our country has ever witnessed?

flyfisher on September 24, 2009 at 12:46 AM

“President Obama said during his speech today: ‘For those who question the character and cause of my nation, I ask you to look at the concrete actions we have taken in just nine months.’

So the goodness of America is found in the Obama administration?”

‘MY’ nation? Or, OUR nation?

As she so aptly stated with her own pie hole, for the first time in her dismal race-card laden life, your wife is proud of her country. But, for the first time in your life, Mr. President (not ‘MY’ President), you’re not proud of your country before you managed to hoodwink your way into the White House? The United States has done so little to nothing before you blessed America with your presence?

After all, during your ascension campaign you made a big deal of how proud of your country you have been all your life, but believed you could change it and shape it into something even more glorious.

Maybe you were you refering to Kenya?

I’ve some friends in LE, and admittedly tend towards alarmist but they swear to have been part of undertaking some “exercises” re; swine flu and some fairly drastic “preventitive measures”. One is in the mid west & the other on the left coast and do not know each other, yet speak od preety much the same thing.

I find this worrisome as both used the phrases “in a national emergency”, “travel restrictions”, “check points” & “civil unrest” in course of convos. With all the hype about swine flu(less deadly to date the regular flu) I could not help the following question coming to mind.

In regards to 2013, can you conduct an election in those circumstances, I really dont know. I’m aware that this could park me in the tin-foil-hat club, but it nags at me.

Assuming the answer is obvious, as all evidence is, my response is equally obvious:

@#$*%!& yourself.

I do hope that America survives this presidency.

Thanks anyway, just taking a chance to clear up something I don’t understand.

Reality is obviously racist.

Concise, yet all encompassing true to Obama

Excellent!

“President Obama said during his speech today: ‘For those who question the character and cause of my nation, I ask you to look at the concrete actions we have taken in just nine months.’
So the goodness of America is found in the Obama administration?”

You know, I was never really proud of my country before Barack Obama was elected President…

Zardoz no doze!

Dhuka on September 24, 2009 at 6:12 AM

The entire 230+ years of American accomplishment is summed up in the mere existence of Barack Obama. The Revolution, the progress, the democracy, the entire history of this great nation pales in the presence of The One.

How do you spell NARCISSIST?

johnsteele on September 24, 2009 at 6:45 AM

Hey you Obama voting moderates:

Is this the lying jackass you were waiting for?

BigAlSouth on September 24, 2009 at 6:49 AM

So, yesterday there were three wacko world demagogues flapping their gums at the UN. Gaddafi, Ahmadinejad and Barack Obama. At last we fit right in. Don’t it make ya proud?

Gag me. The man is a weirdo..an embarrassment. It is all about him.

He is not going to go quietly. There will be an ugly scene on the White House lawn on 1/20/13. Do they make a straitjacket with the presidential seal?
sherry on September 23, 2009 at 11:55 PM

I’d rather seem him perp walked out in cuff’s and ankle bracelets, preferably wearing an orange jumpsuit and flip flops and hopefully before 1/20/2013.

History teaches that totalitarian dictators and their regimes do not give up power willingly, it has to be pried out of their broken and bloody hands.

And I was planning a trip to Eastern Europe next summer.
Knucklehead on September 23, 2009 at 11:35 PM

Go and enjoy yourself. If anyone gives you any grief about the 0bamamessiah just tell them the following…

“Number one: I did not vote for him.

Number two: You Europeans pissed and moaned about “evil George Bush” and “stupid American cowboys” and the rest. Polls taken in Europe showed that you wanted Obama to win and when he did you acted like he was the second coming of Christ. This is where you learn the true meaning of the old adage ‘Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.’.

Too bad Israel didn’t walk out on Obama’s speech.

You wake up every morning loving this country even more than you did the day before……….then you see this a__hole’s face and it hits you that we are under the thumb of a totally dangerous moron, lying, scum bag Marxist. And you make your morning coffee a little hotter to cope…..and you say your prayers for this great country a little more intense……..

“Grief”? Nah, they’re all in heat for him, especially the media, the young and the gullible. The others won’t speak up.

Was watching on CNN international/Europe and their biggest comment after Obama`s speech was how quick he left so as not to have to meet Qaddafi in the hallway. (Qaddafi was the next speaker.)

Also the CNN reporter noted that they were expecting a standing ovation after the One was finished, “But it does not look like it is going to happen”, she said.
