On the other hand, I suspect those who had devolved into the welfare dependence class will vote to continue to have the luxary to sit on their arses, do nothing, and suck on the public teats. They will vote for any Democrat politician who bribes them with taxpayers’ money. Andrew Cuomo can call Paterson a “n” and this still will not change.

If the GOP fielded a strong candidate, that and Barry might make NY to be a state in play.

A rancorous primary battle between Cuomo and Patterson could benefit Giuliani. Even though he’s too liberal for me, he might be just right for New York. Not sure if it would translate to Republicans taking NY in the national race. Seems a bit of a stretch to me but I’ve been horribly wrong before.

Why I thought any little boy or girl could grow up and become whatever he or she wanted to be because they live in America where they have the freedom to choose their life paths. Oh yeah that’s right. Didn’t I hear something about Obama desiring to “steer” people into vocations? Or was I taking meds for pain at that time? That’s a little like the Dems putting pressure on those in Congress who were waffling on some of the voting stating “vote our way or we’ll make sure you never hold office again.” If Patterson wants to drain his coffers and run for office again, he should be able to and there’s nothing to say he couldn’t run in opposition to the One’s desires. This President has to learn that he can’t just tell people what they are supposed to do and have them respond the way he wants them to. He’s not God, he’s not the king of the whole world–yet. Patterson, you want to run, run. I wouldn’t vote for you because, unless they are doing marvelous things in office right now, I’m voting out all imcumbents–most especially Democrats. As far as “not having the chance to govern the way others have in the past” that’s because he’s still got the training wheels on his desk in the Oval Office. Stop whining Barry. Be a man.
