Yes, I know. That’s why I used the noun ‘rhetoric’. I don’t mind the use of rhetorical devices, but I’d prefer rhetoric that DIDN’T allude to forms of African terrorism, ie references to ‘necklacing’.

Oh yeah, and Glen Greenwald was on from Salon saying something about Republicans, Fox News, John Fund, Haliburton, Blackwater, Duke Cunningham, etc. Seriously. This was his argument, ignore Acorn because Duke Cunningham was convicted of a crime. A truely Wiskey Tango Foxtrot if I ever heard one.

Thankfully, Fund didn’t bite and just explained that he got his information from the eight ousted Acorn board members. None of whom is conservative or Republican, but insist that Acorn has been hijacked from its original mission and is now essentially a money laundering operation and shell game.

You mean that one video of the scary Black Panthers that Fox show over and over and over and over? I think a conspiracy will have to involve more than one clip of footage. Showing it 1000 times a day does not mean conspiracy.

If Barry returns to this same well again more people will come to the conclusion that their president is: poorly read, poorly informed, incurious, obtuse or just a plain old fudging liar. Americans rightfully expect their president informed and up to speed on the news. They won’t have anything else.
