Comedy gold from the RNC chairman, cheekily borrowing Alinsky Rule 4 to rub the left’s face in its own bottom-feeding racial demagoguery. His argument’s absurd, of course, and deliberately so: Imagine believing that Obama hates black people … when we all know it’s blind people that he really hates.
Paterson responded this afternoon to the The One’s nudge by kinda sorta telling him to get bent. Exit question: Is Paterson racist?

Oh I think I’ve got it now. A nut from another site comes here and throws sh!t all over the walls and manges to change the entire culture of the place. He gets some longtime regulars banned (an amazing rarity at HA). The active regulars get pissed at the banning and new heavy hand and start spamming the threads with blank posts further destroying the culture of the place. Have I go it about right?

This is Ed, Allah’s, and Michelle’s blog–we are visitors here…Would it not be better for all of us to email, and politely ask for a cooling off period instead of outright banning? 2nd chances after getting their knuckles rapped? Maybe we can appeal to them that we need a better class of trolls here–don’t leave us with guppyfish and his friends….

Steele had his tongue firmly in cheek during this entire exchange and I loved it. What are the Dems gonna say in response? Accusing Steele of playing the race card will come off as more than a little hypocritical, although the left seems to have no qualms about that(witness Pelosi’s crocodile tears press conference the other day).

With the advent of this obvious Dem onslaught in the MSM and the blogosphere, where they incessantly blast any and all Obama opposition as racist, I’ve decided that we’re going to be seeing a marked uptick on Thursdays and Sundays, in an attempt to disrupt the 24-hour news cycle. Killgore came in last Thursday to telegraph and later execute his “experiment,” and of course the Sunday morning shows are always a MSM favorite for shaping coverage in the coming week.
As for Steele, I question the timing…LOL. Also, Kathleen Kennedy Townsend evidently couldn’t defeat Erhlich and his <Box ‘o’ Rocks running mate Steele–running in Teddy’s fam-fam’s little personal political proving ground.

I really enjoy the comments through and reading everyone.It my guilty pleasure for a break from homework. Can we please allow a temporary ban rather than a permanent ban on Upstater and Sven? Seems to me that Bob Schieffer brought up race. Why accuse Steele of doing so? Judging from that clip, it was not Steele, but Schieffer. All Steele said was that it was “stunning,” and it WAS stunning.

This blog has some of the most respectful people I’ve seen, the comments are no way near as toxic as most. Which is why so many people have joined this “community” and what has made this blog so popular. These types of arbitrary bans will do nothing except limit the dialogue. This blog draws people that fight for our free speech and hate the idea of censorship in any form. The mention of FCC trying to take away these freedoms send us all over the edge – rightly so.
I’m just saying………….this just seems wrong.

Look, I don’t know who got banned, but this place is like someone’s private home. You behave badly and you’re asked to leave. If you don’t go of your own free will, you are escorted out. The owners have a perfect right to ban people who are obnoxious and cause trouble. There is absolutely no connection to First Amendment protections when you are a guest in someone’s home. I have the right to censor you when you are on MY website or in my home. Those of you who think otherwise are badly misinformed and have the understanding of American government of a ten-year-old.

Yes, your are right–it was fun for a little bit, but then it was pointed out that maybe it was like spamming..I just began to think that there was a better way to get their attention–it was becoming similar to holding our breath until they noticed us. I still think we should all ask them in mass, in emails. They (Ed and Allah)have always been polite and answered anything I asked them about…why wouldn’t they appreciate us asking them?
