I got this earlier tonight from Hot Air reader Dave T in Los Angeles, who swears he saw this across the street from CBS Studios in West Hollywood. He sent it from his iPhone, with this note:
I’m always surprised to see conservative guerilla art in LA. But considering it’s only been a week since O’Keefe and Giles’ first ACORN tape was released, seeing this was downright shocking.
If this is on the level, it’s certainly positioned for maximum effect:
On the level or not, it made my evening.
Update: Via Midas in the comments, Media Bistro reports it’s legit — and it’s gone viral in LA:
The Eastsider LA has an interesting picture of Gary Leonard photographing a spray-painted sign on the exterior wall of Shepard Fairey‘s studio. The sign reads “ACORN Funded Prostitution Zone” and its location suggests that Fairey or someone in his crew is behind the image. Or maybe it’s just another local graffiti artist who wanted to share with his colleagues.

Philly ACORN called the cops on them and there was a police report for a “public disturbance” or something… and Miami ACORN is claiming they just gave the girl info about a woman’s shelter and a place she could get legal advice… I really want to see those two places…
Sometime next week Breitbart and BigGovernment.com need to just put everything out there… including who in ACORN did the right thing… if anyone… this “release a video once a day” thing can’t go on much longer….

How about posting those “Your Taxpayer Dollars at Work” signs outside ACORN offices…… $6M dollars of money went to help this community’s prostitution and human trafficking programs. Then list all the Democrats who made it possible.
More seriously, it needs to get out to the conservative grassroots to hold their Congressmen accountable not only for the votes to defund this criminal organization but to demand a full accounting of where all those federal dollars went. This shouldn’t be going away until some people are in a federal correctional facility and ACORN has lost it’s tax exempt status.
I’m particularly harsh here because of those two unrelated videos where ACORN didn’t even bat an eye about giving advice as to how to cover up human trafficking and sexual exploitation of underage girls. I don’t care who you are, that’s unacceptable and can’t be condoned.

Why should libs be the only ones to sue people. Maybe someone should sue Mr Slimy who heads ACORN. I am sure there has got to be something they could be sued for. What about racketeering laws or laws they use to get the mob?? Isn’t that really all ACORN is??

I love the way they’re spinning this out. I can imagine the ACORN bosses calling up the other branches after each video and asking, “OK what did you say when they showed up?” And getting a ration of lies, “Oh, no worries, we showed ‘em the door, called the cops on ‘em, yeah that’s right, called the cops”. Then the next video comes out . . . hilarity ensues.

If it was “all out there at once” this would just be a blip, there would be some lame explanation, and it would be over. But instead, now the entire country keeps waiting for the next shoe to drop, and the next, and the next – it’s a beautiful thing! Fort Worth Dems are looking Stupid as they try to explain why they are supporting ACORN. Each remark makes them look more tied to the group and more guilty. The fear is if they support the Organization in general they look corrupt. If they support a particular office and it turns out to be targeted with a Sting, they look like they are tied to any crimes that they may be exposed on tape.
Let the tapes bleed out over several weeks.
Revenge is a dish best served cold. In a year, even the mention of the word ACORN will be like saying the “Mafia”.
