Has anyone asked her about her comment of the tapes being “doctored” or “heavily edited” or any of the other stuff they tried to save their ass with?

Excellent point. When caught they reacted with lies and corruption. It is a corporate culture saturated in vice of every kind.

Am extremely pissed and want an ABJECT APOLOGY from Lewis for calling conservatives racist. Especially to O’Keefe, who predicted they’d be apologizing to him and whom I now want to DEMAND it of them.

Well I read there are more tapes with a different theme coming so it is probably not going to spur any apologies in the near future.

I actually think this new tack is a result of the Whitehouse telling them how to handle the exposure.

It goes without saying that they are certainly not able to police themselves and need an independent investigation. I hope that is what we eventually get.

We need the Bill of Federalism ASAP.

The acronym can be changed like a cheap pair of socks. It’s easier to throw out than to launder.

This is a political machine. The shell companies are going to keep right on doing what they’re doing. They can change names faster than amateur journalists can re-expose them.

This thing isn’t going down until all of the guys at the top go down.

And since they’re not taking any new clients, they won’t get caught by investigative reporters in the future. Smooth move, ACORN.

The only solution is to permanently de-fund the Fed programs and shift to state block grants, and even that doesn’t get rid of graft and corruption, it just decentralizes it. State gov’t is faster than D.C. to react to fraud, in many cases.

Well, I think it would also take a huge power shift in legislatures all over the country. But I do think eventually this junk will be defeated.

The Dems know, from experience, that once Repubs point out fraud like this, they have to do some cleaning of the house, but .. within 5 years, some organization with the same basic structure will be pulling the same basic scams.

Call me cynical but I think any investigation of Acorn will be stopped eventually by “the powers that be” like the last one was.
