The Dems cannot un-link themselves from ACORN. That is the track we conservatives must keep on. ACORN is funded and supported by the majority party of the United States government. Do not let them off the hook. The Dems own ACORN. They conceived it, carried it to term, and squeezed it out on the nation.

Call your local paper and question them why they are not reporting this.

The outcome of this revelation will determine whether or not there is any hope for our country. If there is not a complete investigation of ACORN, revealing all of its political connections and illegal activities, along with the complete elimination of any and all federal funding, then I see no future for our union.

Here’s the only bona fide story I have right now. In CA, a law was passed to pay people who took care of relatives at home. Now, the reasoning was typical CA thinking. Either pay for Alzheimer’s patients at great expense by institutionalizing or offer help to homecare people.
Sounds terribly sensible.
However, it opened the doors to a load of scammers. They were borrowing great aunts like mad to get in on this.
There were, you ready, 2 people given jobs to actually verify this program. 2.
OK, skip ahead. Our governor, faced with a bankrupt state, tried to lower the wages of these “homeworkers.”
Obama actually got on the phone, with the SEIU, (which covers these ‘homeworkers’) and threatened that he would take away stimulus money IF their ‘wages’ were reduced.
Let me state the facts. We are talking about spouses being paid for taking care of their life-long spouses.
So, SEIU is deeply involved with Obama in a very direct manner.
We’re outta the primaries, where we tried to link him to groups.
This is now, a real history.
And SEIU is as dirty as ACORN.

I’ve been talking about this stuff since before he even got the nomination which was the time to do “preventive medicine”. Well, I’m old enough to know that actual steps forward often look odd initially.
Obama isn’t savvy about how to push through legislation. But that probably is a good thing.
He has, obviously, broken a race barrier. And that’s definitely a good thing.
It will all work out. He’s paying close attention to the real issues, which Bush also supported.
And I think the rest of us are very much angry and frustrated. We played by the rules.
But obviously, a lot of our current society doesn’t. That goes from Acorn to CEO’s.
I think a lot of us are rightfully angry about both ends of the spectrum.

It set up a false-choice narrative that either the current health-care bill be passed or else the status quo would remain. It totally ignores other amendments that the Republicans have offered. I’ve heard of this scam. I haven’t heard your numbers or Obama/SEIU involvement before.
But just taking this scam into consideration, why isn’t this all over the news? Why aren’t there exposes on this? I’m sure stuff like this goes on all over the country, but you never hear about it.
I really feel like we are still in a gunfight with a knife. Sure if you hang out in the echo chamber, you can forget that for a moment. But as soon as you venture out our media makes Pravda look good.

Insofar as SEIU, I was recently told by a plumber who did 3 tours in Iraq that SEIU skimmed about half their pay from KBR.
That comes out to about $82,000 a year from what he quoted us at the dinner table.
While mortars were raining down on him and he was installing plumbing in 120 degree heat, they were making money by the sackful.

This is what I’ve been thinking about the past several days as the tapes were trickling out. 1) these kids and Beck need security, 2) that ACORN has been in so many legal battles before and still managed to escape and 3)if they do get in busted, they’ll rename and regroup.
So, I’m waiting to see how this goes. The pressure has to be immense and the corruption needs to be clear from top down, which we all know it is.
