Fox News posts full, unedited video of sting on ACORN San Bernardino

posted at 7:39 pm on September 15, 2009 by Allahpundit

I’m not sure why Breitbart, O’Keefe, and Giles are holding back part two of their vid when FNC already has the whole hour-long escapade up on its site, but people are starved for more so I’ll feed you what I have. Below you’ll find no fewer than seven clips: The first three are of Beck commenting on the lowlights of the tapes from today’s special all-ACORN episode and the last four comprise what appears to be the complete unedited video — sans subtitles and narration — from the office visit. One interesting bit not included in the clip that we watched earlier but flagged by Beck is of “Theresa” insisting that her supervisor would never go in for this sort of deal … before suggesting that she might have a racket like this going on on the side herself.

No reaction to tonight’s latest bombshell from ACORN thus far, and no further word from the House GOP about pushing to defund the organization. It’s awfully quiet out there.

House GOP to Obama: Cut the ACORN Roots Now
by Mike Flynn

Last night, 83 members of the United States Senate went on record to prohibit ACORN from collecting any federal funds. Tonight, over 130 members of the House of Representatives sent a letter to President Obama, asking him to disclose and terminate all federal funding to ACORN.

Read full report at biggovernment.com

Copy of the letter is posted with signatures. But 305 members of the House are still silent about Acorn.

Not only are the Democrats terrified of the Tea Party movement and the new conservative media … but the GOP Ayatollahs are too. Why? Because they can’t control the movement right now and don’t want to be responsible if it veers into the swamp. It’s quite funny – but the GOP Ayatollah’s are kind of like a bullrider trying to hang on to the meanest bull in the rodeo. They’re counting the seconds and can’t wait until they have their boots back on the ground so they can control where they’re going.

Take note of the GOP leaders who are embracing the movement and encouraging it forward … like Palin and … even Ayatollah DeMint – he seems to be embracing now too.

And lets not forget our Medal of Honor winner – Joe Wilson!

Why should the RNC say anything at all? It would expose them to the possibility of screwing up a perfectly good circular firing squad and distracting attention away from ACORN and other Democrat corruption onto a squabble between D and R. Better to simply let the attention stay focused on the Democrats and their pals for a while.

That the RNC hasn’t said anything to distract the attention must have the Democrats’ panties in a twist because right now there is nobody to strike back at besides Beck and Beck isn’t running for office (and I hope he never does).

The RNC is playing it correctly, I believe.

Social Security Fraud

August 7, 2002

31 Jobs Saved!

Members of the Chicago chapter of the community organization ACORN have persuaded an AOL Time Warner company to back down on its attempt to fire 31 workers after receiving letters from the Social Security Administration saying that the workers’ SS numbers did not match those in SSA’s records.

On July 31, 2002, 31 jobs were saved at Warner Elektra Atlantic, the record label for Warner Bros Music, an AOL-Time Warner company.

The workers had been told to straighten out their “SSA no match problems” or the 31st would be their last day of work.

Fourteen of them are ACORN members.
[Illegal alien Acorn workers?]

ACORN sent letters to WEA demanding immediate negotiations to stop the firing of the workers.

The company said they were interested in a meeting with ACORN after they had time to review the matter with their lawyers.

In the meantime ACORN planned a protest at WEA’s shop in Aurora, Ill., for noon on the 31st with the workers and other ACORN members during the lunch break.

When ACORN members were on their way there along with TV news reporters, workers let them know that victory was at hand.

By lunch time, each worker had been called into the HR office and told they could remain on the job.

Chicago City Council Passes Resolution Opposing SSA!

ACORN has also persuaded the Chicago City Council to pass a resolution opposing SSA’s policy of issuing no-match letters, and urging businesses to follow a code of conduct intended to minimize the damage done to Chicago’s residents and economy by this practice.

On July 31, Chicago Alderman Ricardo Munoz and the rest of the Latino Caucus sponsored the resolution included below in City Council. It passed without objection.

Then let Acorn and The Won respond. And after they defend themselves and make excuses – release the final crazy video. Wouldn’t you love to be a fly in the Oval Office if that happened???

ACORN organizer rips video

http://www.sbsun.com/breakingnews/ci_13342555

The woman, identified on the video as Tresa Kaelke, appears on posted footage to be interested in cooperating the plan. However, California ACORN head organizer Amy Schur said the video is a gross misrepresentation of what actually happened.

“In this video, there are two actors who come into our office and who were messing with us. And our employee was messing with them,” Schur said.

She said that the complete and unedited video needs to be released to the public.

Schur said that in a moment not shown on the edited video, Kaelke asked the undercover “pimp” if he was joking and then proceeded to play along with the joke.

Furthermore, Schur said that Kaelke will sign an affidavit stating that she was not seriously entertaining the idea of cooperating with an apparent attempt to establish a house of prostitution.

“She (Kaelke) asked if they were joking and asked if they were reporters. They said they weren’t reporters and they aren’t. This is not legitimate news,” Schur said.

WHAT IS LEGITIMATE NEWS??

I say ACORN is not legitimate.

California Blocks Attack on Predatory Lending Laws

1. CALIFORNIA BLOCKS ATTACK ON PREDATORY LENDING
LAWS — An attempt to sneak legislation banning local predatory
lending laws through the California legislature this week was
dropped after ACORN members, along with AARP and Consumers
Union, organized against it. ACORN members made calls to
legislators from around the state asking them to oppose any
preemption or moratorium, and picketed the offices of legislators
who had agreed to support such a measure.
A proposal under
consideration could have retroactively banned Oakland’s law
restricting predatory lending as well as forestalling efforts to pass
predatory lending restrictions in Los Angeles and elsewhere.
ACORN and allies had agreed to passage of a limited state law on
predatory lending last year with the explicit understanding that
localities would be able to go further in protecting borrowers. The
lending industry then challenged Oakland’s law in court, losing the
first round of that battle in June. Industry has ap! pealed that
decision as well as attempting this failed legislative violation of last
year’s agreement. For more information, link to

That ACORNball woman who offed her allegedly abusive hubby has all the classic symptoms of a meth tweaker: notice the inability to remain motionless, always moving, swaying, twitching. Also, the heavy damage to the facial collagen. Looks like she has dentures too.

How these two kept in-character and didn’t burst out laughing is simply amazing!!

jcmorris on September 16, 2009 at 4:53 AM

Where is the part where they talk to the elderly man? I saw it somewhere but it isn’t on any of these tapes.

The woman is obviouslly not “all there”. I believe she has a criminal record.

That being said… I don’t think this tape does us any good in the end. It looks like they are preying on a mentally disturbed woman.

There seems to be no “dead” person. I wouldn’t be surprised if she made it up or, if she actually did this to a pimp at some time, but we don’t know.

If they have more tapes, they need to keep playing them but I’m sure ACORN will now use the “we were playing along” theme.

stenwin77 on September 16, 2009 at 7:44 AM

Beck said yesterday he is looking into finding out about this woman’s husband, but the state of Calif was not being helpful.

As for Eric Holder…if he doesnt start and investigation and if Obama doesnt immediately call for one, they will have hell to pay. There was a Rep on Fox & friends who said if they called for one today, it would start today. Im not hopeful that they will tho,.

It would be interesting to see how long it takes President Obama to denounce the Acorn Organization. I am not holding my breath.

In 2007, candidate Obama assured the “people of Acorn” would help him run the country. Scary indeed. Gotta love that Community Organizing.

The bad news, is at worst, Acorn is shut down to be reincarnated as some other entity.

It is clear with all these hidden cameras at Acorn looking to help “prostitutes” is in line with the President’s agenda – jerking off America.

Has anybody explained why the date tag on the video reads 2005?

Ok, for the first time here I am asking for help from the Hot Air community.
I am ashamed to admit the Governor of my great Commonwealth of Virginia, Tim Kaine, is only working part-time at his elected job. He is also the chairman of the Democratic National Committee. I just e-mailed him the letter below. I have also attached the link to contact him. If anyone has a few minutes today to raise some ethics issues with him, it would be appreciated. This man has national office aspirations in his blood.

Dear Governor Kaine:

In late 2007, it became apparent to me that ACORN and it’s affiliates are a criminal organization, and are being funded with taxpayer monies. My understanding is that the DNC worked hand in hand with ACORN with regard to voter registration and other “community organizing” activities.

In light of the recent videos released by Breitbart news service, it has been confirmed that ACORN offices across the country show a lack of common morality at best, and at worst, true criminal behavior such as conspiracy to commit mortgage fraud and conspiracy to commit tax fraud.

My question to you Governor, is has the DNC severed it’s ties to ACORN and if not, why not?
If the realtionship is to continue, can you please provide reasons why the national Democrats condone a relationship with an obviously corrupt entity?

As a Virginian and taxpayer, inaction on your part only leads me to believe that you, in your position as DNC chairman and the Governor of Virginia, agree with their policies and practices.

Governor, you should be ashamed to have anything to do with these corrupt organizations. A failure by you to call for an investigation of ACORN activities in Virginia would lead me to the opinion that you care little about the needs and problems of Virginians and are more interested in furthering a partisan agenda and your own political career.

I eagerly await your response.

Sincerely,

xxxxxxxxxxx

O’Keefe has. It’s the default setting in the recording equipment, and he simply didn’t set the time/date stamp.
