Video: Greasy ACORN spokesman greasier than ever
posted at 9:52 pm on September 14, 2009 by Allahpundit
Remember him? The guy who wouldn’t let John Fund get a word in edgewise during the campaign? Here he is on MSNBC to explain the current scandal to you. Yes, the prostitution sting fooled a few low-level employees, but Fox has a vendetta and the applications never would have made it past senior management and, why, you’re probably a racist for even questioning him to begin with. The opprobrium you’re about to endure serves you right for doubting him.
This tool really should be the White House press secretary after Gibbs. No one else could do sufficiently unctuous justice to The One’s lies.

He’s just the mouth of ACORN.
I really hope this scandal turns into something.

Forget about buying a used, sorry previously owned car from this guy; I wouldn’t buy a new car from him.

I’m shocked he was being interviewed on MSNBC. No I’m not. OT: Way for Dylan Ratigan to implode his career.

This the same douche that Glenn Beck threw off of his set and as he was leaving he was hitting on a producer.

Good job by Ratigan to push him a bit.
I can’t think of anyone other than Scarborough over there that would have challenged him even the slightest.

Interesting that he says that “process matters” and none of these people filled out any forms and they have a “multi-step process” to keep people from doing the wrong thing. That is LAUGHABLE!
If these Ladies had no qualms about lying on a federal tax form, what makes you think they wouldnt lie on the ACORN forms as well to get these through their “multi-step process”? What an a$$chicken this greaseball is! Must think that we have no critical thinking skills to figure out that!

thomasaur on September 14, 2009 at 10:12 PM
So the way things have been going lately, tomorrow’s tape will show that applications made it past a senior level. I can’t even imagine what tomorrows tape is going to show. Hard to see how it could get much worse but Breitbart doesn’t generally oversell.

What’s really sad is that guy makes more money than most of us out here.

He’s probably the reason why ACORN doesn’t have a problem with the sexual abuse and enslavement of underage girls from third world countries.

“None of these people got a loan”
Interesting defense. We counseled them to hide the proceeds from prostitution in the backyard but since we didn’t give them a loan the whole thing is bogus?
We all know what ACORN is, I’m actually more offended about the way MSNBC is attempting to help ACORN.

MikeA on September 14, 2009 at 10:19 PM
An IRS audit from Turbo Tax Tim’s people of one of Obama’s most visible affinity groups? Not bloody likely. Elections have consequences and I suspect that the current dictatorship doesn’t want the inner-workings of ACORN to be too closely examined.

There is suppose to be a devastating video coming out tomorrow…
Glenn Beck seems rather confident in a way that he’s going bigger than tomorrows video… as does breitbart, hannah, and the pimp… I hope there not bluffing… but maybe they are trying to get people rattled in an effort to bring out whistle blowers…

Oh, a jury would LOOOOOOVE this guy.
More, ACORN, please!!!

It is not possible for ACORN to have done enough good to compensate for putting criminals in the neighborhoods of America with taxpayer money. Drug lords… Prostitution… etc. You can’t do anything to make this a good thing.
ACORN helped collapse the world economy for pete’s sake.

johng on September 14, 2009 at 10:22 PM
This line of defense from Levenson doesn’t pass the snicker test. These may have all been grunt workers, but they do not deal with these issues with such openness if there is any amount of oversight in their organization. They’re clearly structured to inflict chaos on our inner cities. If there was any type of oversight in senior management then you would not have people that were so eager to deal with this situation. They would be interested in CYA, and there is not any way that people would be so accepting of sex trafficking in front of each other. Even if an individual had no personal morals about it, how could they be so sure that their co-worker would be so accepting of it as well.
No, you can see the way these people behaved (in 3 different cities….so far), and see that this is what they do. This is who they are.
stldave on September 14, 2009 at 10:24 PM
THANKS!! Wish I had thought of that! lol

johng on September 14, 2009 at 10:25 PM
It would be stupid to bluff. What is needed is video that shows more than stupid people plotting to underwrite prostitution and sexual exploitation of underage children. This is bad enough but another video of more of the same is not the smoking gun that will take ACORN down.
highhopes on September 14, 2009 at 10:25 PM
These videos continue to trickle out one at a time. Here’s hoping there is at least one more coming and it shows the people filling out those forms for the ACORN staff.
Then Levinson will be tap dancing like Mr. Bo Jangles.

That slimeball illustrates the contrast perfectly
NY Conservative on September 14, 2009 at 10:26 PM

CPL 310 on September 14, 2009 at 10:26 PM

LASue on September 14, 2009 at 10:26 PM
So true…you can see its obvious they have no supervision just by the fact that in all 3 videos they have children in the background being noisy and playing…what kind of organization lets you bring your small children to work with you?
johng on September 14, 2009 at 10:27 PM
If the “no harm, no foul” defense is all they got, ACORN is in trouble.
Here’s a question: “These two would-be clients admitted to initiating a sex slave ring involving under-aged girls. Which of your representatives contacted the police for an investigation into this heinous crime?”

Low level employees. These folks are the face of ACORN to anyone who wants anything in their communities. They have a lot of autonomous control over what and how ACORN operates in their communities. Isn’t that the bloody point of ACORN anyway?
While I’m gratified that they have been somewhat defunded by the federal government, I will not be satisfied until their honchos are in prison and ACORN and its affiliates no longer exist.

This would make a GREAT SNL skit, but what the hell, why not just make fun of Sarah Palin again!
Star20 on September 14, 2009 at 10:37 PM
I think that last sentence is where the long term traction is going to come from. The lack of any morals is what gets the attention first – 80-90% of Americans can’t imagine a world where people are so willing to comply with sex traffickers. And I don’t want to downplay that, because it is revolting.
But even if you are able to put the moral objections aside, you are still left with a worldwide crisis where there is bad debt floating throughout financial institutions around the globe. You’ve got politicians who have created the incentives for this and operated on a wink-wink, nod-nod basis for years and years. And at the ground level of that you have ACORN, who is gaming the system to get people like this in homes throughout the country. These are the organizations that played the biggest role in this. It’s been brought up for years, but it just never really took root with the common American.
Most have just been willing to accept that it is simply a lack of “regulation” that brought us to this sorry state. That’s a convenient talking point for politicians to float out there, but the reality is their hands are all over this crisis. These tapes will provide the best opportunity to revisit that, once the smoke clears.
stldave on September 14, 2009 at 10:37 PM
Leftist ideological reason: must destroy Palin!
Realistic reason: ACORN might threaten to sue, ACORN-sympathetic leftists in media and politics will make life hard and hold personal grudges against those who oppose them. The nail that stands up will be hammered down – it’s safe to mock Palin – mocking ACORN mocks the president.
Now, if I were running SNL, it’d be:
Pffft! Right in Fuhrer’s face!
CPL 310 on September 14, 2009 at 10:40 PM
