Obama, off the record: Kanye’s a “jackass”

I knew he had his good points. What I don’t know is why he’d insist on keeping this off the record.
ABC News reporter Terry Moran caused quite a commotion tonight on Twitter following after writing: “Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a “jackass” for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT’S presidential.”…
Now, an ABC spokesperson explains to POLITICO what happened:
In the process of reporting on remarks by President Obama that were made during a CNBC interview, ABC News employees prematurely tweeted a portion of those remarks that turned out to be from an off-the-record portion of the interview. This was done before our editorial process had been completed. That was wrong. We apologize to the White House and CNBC and are taking steps to ensure that it will not happen again.
Has he said anything nearly this harsh about the many, many A-holes in his own party who’ve spent the past month demagoging ObamaCare opponents in the most odious terms?

The filthy liar in the White House wants to be the neo-POTUS. A “cool” leader who not only can school North Korea about nuclear proliferation but also inserts himself into pop culture. A guy who can release the names of the Kennedy Center Honorees on a Friday afternoon and call Kanye West a jackass on a Monday morning. A closet smoker who enacts policies to punish smokers and the tobacco industry. A devoted socialist who wants to inject his poison into the very fabric of this nation.
Does it really matter what the filthy liar thinks about the VMAs? No, but it distracts from issues like ACORN. Keep in mind that Obama has a limited intellect. He can only work one issue at a time and he is currently campaigning for the state seizure of the healthcare industry. Because ACORN is so much a part of his administration he needs to create a distraction and a media willing to “accidentially” call a jackass a jackass is bread and circus.

This was ABC News working with the White House to deliver Obama his Sister Souljah moment. He didn’t want it “off the record” — he wanted it released immediately — he just wanted to pretend it was off the record so he could appear all appalled at the bad, bad rapper who hurt the feelings of the sweet teenage country singer, and yet not have to discuss it any further. 1) For those constituents who are angry at West, Barry called him a jackass. For those constituents who agree with West, Barry said nothing. It was all off the record. Plausible deniability. I don’t like it one bit, but my guess is that here, Barry is using a winning strategy.
