Notice how she kept her cool in a situation where other reporters under identical circumstances would have either lost their train of thought, tried to debate the crowd, delivered their report dripping with sarcasm, or all of the above. Lisa did none of those things, and actually, if you listened, defended Joe Wilson’s reputation as someone who “cares about things like honor” and “is generally mild mannered.” Lisa is not liberal and she’s not conservative — she reports both sides with never even the slightest hint of bias. I know because Lisa has been on my radio show about a million times and is always 100% objective, professional, and outstanding.

Reporters are like politicians — Despite so many bad ones, there are actually a lot of really, really good ones out there. Lisa Desjardins is one of them.

Rivera comes on after a break and actually reads from an emailer that says, “Rivera, your suggestion that Joe Wilson’s outburst was a racist statement against Obama has no place in this argument, and Ann Coulter is right, this is something she would expect from a host at MSNBC.”

The only thing I can say right now concerning Rivera, is “Mr. Rivera, you are an embarrassment to the human race. And your ridiculous claim that people in this nation that are sick of paying their hard earned tax dollars to subsidize 12 million illegal immigrant’s healthcare is some how “racist” is just that—RIDICULOUS! You, sir, are an idiot and so is every politician that makes this ludicrous argument about RACE. This attempt of our government to take control of our healthcare industry IN NOT ABOUT YOUR FRIGGIN’ RACE.
