Did you know that the KKK was formed in 1866 by the Democrats to lynch and terrorize Republicans, black and white. To combat the terrorizim the Republicans passed the Civil Rights act of 1866 and the Reconciliation Act of 1867 that would create a fairer system for blacks in the south.

The 14th Amendment was pushed by Republicans to grant blacks citizenship.
