He blogged for the Huffington Post, stating that he had fought in Iraq and helped rebuild that country and had come home to find that the Congressman [Addison Graves Wilson] from his district and his government in Washington were neglecting the same things in his own country. Q. Will TIN #’s be used to establish federal ID for illegals to give them govt subsidies ( which in majority of cases will be 100 % for large families)

Q. In case of illegals with anchor babies, will the whole family be considered ONE UNIT and as such shoved into govt subsidies , just like they do for food-stamps and welfare ?

Q. When gangbangers, drugpushers and other criminals who are also illegals end up in hospitals with no/multiple IDs, and no insurance, will they pay for their medical care ?

Q. Will anchor babies be used to avoid deportation of criminal illegals ?

Q. So what will change for illegals ? If it won’t be difficult for them to mooch off American taxpayer, if they will not be punished for their crimes and if they would still be able to live off the anchor-babies ( free education, free medical, free food, free housing, , free college, free money ) what exactly are the NEW provisions aiming for?

As long as illegals can
1. use anchor-babies as meal tickets
2. live off US taxpayers
3. drive in USA with metricula cards
4. avoid deportation even after criminal activity
5. purchase SS cards / DLs of US citizens , in USA
6. work for cash ,with no repurcussions at all

this whole charade is not even worth the paper it is written on.

Possibly you should read the bill. The credits in question are not tax credits, but premium credits.

In 2013, under §241 of H.R. 3200, certain individuals would be eligible for premium credits (i.e.,
subsidies based on income) toward their required purchase of health insurance. Even whenindividuals have health insurance, they may be unable to afford the cost sharing (deductible andcopayments) required to obtain health care. Under H.R. 3200, those eligible for premium credits
would also be eligible for cost-sharing credits (i.e., subsidies).

The provision did NOT prevent them from participating. It only prevented them from collecting tax credits while doing so.

Illegal immigrants can already get private insurance. This bill prohibits them from getting federally subsidized insurance.

I wonder how many of the nutters citing the CRS report on HR 3200 actually bothered to read it? You know, like the part that explains that the Commissioner responsible for administering the exchange credit program has to actually, you know … ensure compliance with the “no aid to illegal aliens” provision.

Right now, I assume the snakes in the Senate are setting up a vetting process that will be the same as the ID needed for driver’s licenses. A worthless sham, unless the credentials are seriously investigated by someone other than the employer or a clerk at the local Secretary of State. At the point illegals are identified, is the law going to be obeyed and illegals deported and employers punished?

If that’s true, I would say that the bill originally did prohibit illegal immigrants from participating, and anyone who said it didn’t was a liar.

I came upon this item by VodkaPundit Stephen Green last night that fed into a larger issue I’d been pondering – passion and politics, especially on the Right in light of the Joe Wilson affair. Disagreeing, I teased him, perhaps……

Yes, absurd… and yet when California citizens passed a Law that only citizens could get use State Facilities… it was overturned for that exact reason, and the Supremes decided not to hear the case…

I heard the same interview of Judge Napalitano & have to agree- he said you can’t offer it to one “class” and not another. And don’t think for one minute that Obama (Mr-I-taught-Constitutional-law) doesn’t know that. This is nothing more than a fake-out. Now the Dems can say the “fixed it” so illegals aren’t covered.
