President Obama warned his political opponents against using “partisan spectacles” and “scare tactics” in the health-care overhaul debate — but couldn’t make it out of his own speech before failing to take his own advice. Here’s a mashup of the two moments, which come 28 minutes apart in Obama’s speech on Wednesday:

It’s typical Liberal math. The actual numbers don’t have any meaning; it’s all about how you feel. (That’s why Liberals teach school children such important math lessons as this: “If math were a color, what color would it be?”) So if you feel better about spending a lot of money that you don’t actually have, it’s all good.

WHICH speech? Obama’s ALWAYS giving a speech, blathering on and on and on in his own little “I’m wonderful” mode. He never stops. It’s all he does, all he knows how to do: read words written by others off a teleprompter. All this clueless Empty Suit is qualified for is a local television “anchor” job in Cleveland or a preacher on the south side of Chicago.

Our President has saved over two billion jobs, and his recommendations to simple people everywhere has prevented over four trillion abortions.
He is the most intelligent President in history. Sociologists tell us that the reason America elected such an intelligent man is that the American IQ has risen on average by 50 IQ points per year over the last 100 years.
America has evolved, and President Obama reflects that evolution towards perfection. I sometimes wonder if he might be the perfect man.

It’s not THAT money we don’t have. It’s the OTHER money we don’t have that doesn’t count. Sheesh. You just don’t get it, do you? If your shoulders are cold, just cut some of the blanket from the area covering your feet and sew it to the top. It will work because Obamanure says it will work.
Just prostrate yourself at his feet and say a few Our Obalmy’s and you will be forgiven.

And he lectures against “partisanship”, when his lack of leadership and gravitas is the reason for the escalation in partisanship. What a jerk.

Speaking of scare tactics… my husband got a letter from “Change that Works” a project of SEIU . It’s a letter written by L. Toni Lewis, MD , and it’s all about scare tactics. He says,
‘As a doctor, I’ve watched families make impossible choices.’ He lists some of these “impossible” choices.
At the very end he says, ” The insurance special interests are spending millions of dollars to spread false and misleading information about health insurance reform.”
And yet the very first FACT: states, “And if you are currently covered by an insurance plan you like, you’ll be able to keep it.”
These guys are such hypocrites. And they’re well funded and reaching out to everyone.

I have learned that this is a typical liberal tactic: loudly accuse others of doing the evil deeds that you are, in fact, doing yourself. I think it’s instinctive to them, and it’s possible they don’t even grasp the hypocrisy, or if they do, they have some twisted rationale as to why it’s acceptable.

What people are aware of at this moment, is the economy and the national deficit. Democrats took control of government in 2006. The economy was rolling along nicely with very low unemployment. Democrats won the WH, giving them a monopoly on power in our government. Since that time, the national debt has been blown up beyond comprehension. We are now finding out that Van Jones is a devoted communist, and he was one of the authors of the stimulus package. A day doesn’t go by that we don’t find out things about these Democrats that stinks worse than a 2-week old fish out of water.
We are having a Tea Party here in my little town this Saturday. I live in Stillwater County, Montana; we have a total population of around 8,500. It will be very interesting to see what kind of turnout we will have. I will send Ed a few photo’s following the event. We have been spreading out fliers around the county, and Democrats have been grabbing them and throwing them away almost as fast as we can spread them. You know. those people who are committed to free speech and all… :)

The thing is that Obama and his supporters don’t see these things as schizo. They are committed to their contradictions and will cherry-pick facts to support that commitment until their dying breath, in most cases. In ancient times, people like them would have gathered up their belongings and wandered off to found a new society, only to have it die out shortly thereafter, due to its detachment from reality. In today’s world, they control all three branches of government in the most powerful country in the world. Crazy times.

Needless to say I nearly died inside when I saw what happened until he called Ma…

As I posted above, the filthy liar is going to be at the Pentagon, Biden will be at the WTC, and Colin Powell will be in Pennsylvania.
That being said, I don’t want this radical racist to speak today at all. He’s just going to politicize a day that should be about remembering and I don’t want to hear comments about how we need to get universal single-payer health coverage passed to honor the victims of the 9/11/01 atrocities.
Face it, Democrats allowed the 9/11 attacks to happen by their decade-long laziness when it came to taking terrorism seriously. All the signs were there but the Clinton-era policies were inadequate. Obama and all Democrats should be apologizing to America today, not getting top billing at 9/11 events.

Numbers (whether they be dollars or unemployment) are just adjectives to this administration. Therefore, they are interchangeable. Just like you can say “beautiful” or “gorgeous” and mean the same thing, they can say 100 million or 4 trillion. They think it means the same thing.

That’s natural, especially that morning where (despite the pictures) it was hard to truly understand the magnitude about what was going on.
My experience was opposite yours. One of my siblings was living in NYC but uptown. I only found out after the attacks that he had moved the previous weekend to South End Ave a couple of blocks over from the WTC. He was safely at work when the attacks occured but he was out of his apartment for months.
I’m working down near the Pentagon these days and working with some people who were, in fact, in the Pentagon on 9/11/01. It makes this anniversary particularly sharp for me. I really am frustrated with the short attention span of Americans and don’t even want to get started on the filthy liar’s decision to re-brand 9/11 to fit his hate-America agenda.

I agree HH I had posted to you that the reason President Date Night who controls the Pentagon’s scheduling did not schedule the ability to do both is he does not want to take the risk of being heckled by the crowd in NYC. I cannot fathom that all the WTC families want 9/11 to simply become “Labor Day Weekend 2″.
The audience at the Pentagon cannot heckle, the audience in NYC can.

President Date Night can jaunt all ever hell’s half acre but he can’t take a day off from his UHC world tour to try to take care of the military’s grief and the public at large’s….

Speaking of “scare tactics”, I did not watch the speech but was flipping back and forth from my baseball game because I wanted to hear what Brit Hume said afterwards. I happened to click on the speech right at a moment when he said “you seniors”, looking directly into the camera. The look in his eyes was positively chilling and scared the life out of me!

I can’t get over the fact that he states “everyone in this room knows what will happen if we do nothing”, when NO ONE in that room will be subjected to this bill!!!! This just kills me. I don’t know how anyone can say this and not be struck by lightning as they speak.
Also, my “disdain for my government has been hardened” by the lies and threats of him and his party. And their attempt to push this bill through in two weeks before the break. And their attempt to push through Cap and Trade similarly and TARP. THIS is why we don’t trust you Mr. Obama, Mrs. Pelosi, Mr. Reid, et al. They don’t know what is in this bill and yet, they expect us to swallow it. “Disdain” is putting it lightly.

The reason Obama’s presidency is in such a mess is because he doesn’t have enough experience to be a party leader. He can’t or doesn’t know how to stand up to Reid, Pelosi, Frank, etc. and take the reins of the party. So he is letting them dictate terms regarding policy and initiatives he is championing.
It is almost as if Pelosi and Reid are using the charismatic black man to solidify their powergrabs, but not give him real authority over the party or agenda.
Doesn’t that sound familiar? The white people using the black man to further their own goals. So the only conclusion that can be drawn here is that Pelosi and Reid ARE RACIST!
Barack Obama is the first black man elected president, but he isn’t really serving as president. He is Pelosi’s and Reid’s “boy.” And here we were told that this is post-racial America. Still looks the same.
