This is just part of the same usual spin. Of course are not being created. But by saying that jobs were “saved” they blatantly try to make it look as if the stimulus is working. After all, how can you prove that those still working wouldn’t have been let go? Clever us of words to make something look less negative, even though we are aware of the facts.

As someone who is in a position to know how many jobs were created for a northeastern state due to ARRA, I can tell you that we have no idea and the 1M number is completely made up by the Feds.
