Joe Wilson: I need your donations to defend myself from liberal attacks

One might argue that a man who’s truly sorry for what he did wouldn’t be trying to make a buck off of it, but if the left’s going to monetize his outburst — replete with scolding about what an embarrassment he is from the national embarrassment that we call Joe Biden — I guess he has no choice. Here’s the donation page.
As I write this, The Hill is oh so innocently wondering whether Wilson’s shouting might be due to the fact that he’s … some sort of speed freak. We’ve reached a very, very dark point.

So they’ve been backdooring this guy all day and have managed to come up with the startling earth-shattering revelations that he used caffeine pills in lieu of coffee-clutching and owes some money in debts like most of us?
Wilson will be on Hannity tonight. He was on Levin’s show earlier and said the support coming in from constituents and nationwide to his office is overwhelming and “humbling”. The donations have also been steadily coming in since early this afternoon.

Well, I was a bit miffed that Joe Wilson apologized for his outburst last night, too. My husband put it in perspective for me last night. Being the gentleman that he usually is, I had to laugh.
“Suppose I kicked Obama in the balls. I would have to say “Oh, sorry,” because it is the gentlemanly thing to do. However, I inflicted pain and everyone saw me do it.” It’s a beautiful thing.

For all you guys saying that he never should have apologized, that simply isn’t realistic. Think about it. Pelosi and the rats would have made the filthy liar into a martyr attacked on the floor of the House by a racist Southern white guy. They would have suggested that this event was akin to when Charles Sumner was nearly beaten to death by another Congressman from South Carolina.
As it is, Wilson got the comment in to the point that it was probably more of a story today than the speech itself, he apologized immediately so there was no room for the rats to demand an apology, and if they follow through with efforts to censure Wilson (after his apology and acceptance by the White House) it makes Wilson into the martyr.

I think Joe Wilson apologizing gives the media cover to say: you see, he is not a liar, this guy had to take his statements back 2 times and how gracious of Obama to accept.
