It’s come to this: Olbermann lectures Joe Wilson
posted at 9:47 pm on September 10, 2009 by Allahpundit
A very special comment indeed on the eve of 9/11 from a guy who thinks Fox News is “worse than Al Qaeda,” who regards any and all criticism of Barack Obama as thinly veiled racism, and who treats the veritable certainty that ObamaCare will eventually be extended to illegal immigrants as the height of paranoia. Not a single word uttered about the president’s assurance that our trillion-dollar health-care “experiment” will supposedly be deficit-neutral. It’s all about Joe Wilson, don’t you know.
You’re looking at the leading liberal light on American television here. This is the top of the food chain.

I can’t click. I just can’t.

Nope, not gonna watch.
I prefer my vitriol from network news.
KingGold on September 10, 2009 at 9:49 PM
Olbermann uses the phrase “factual failure”? Did he say it with a straight face? I can’t watch.
Sharke on September 10, 2009 at 9:50 PM
Wait, but I thought this whole Wilson thing was a loser for liberals and Obama wouldn’t want it in the headlines today! Why do liberal pundits keep focusing on it??? Oh noesssss!
crr6 on September 10, 2009 at 9:50 PM
One of rules I live by is that I don’t listen to or watch anything containing Keith Olberman.
marmaran on September 10, 2009 at 9:50 PM
Is KO gay? I’m seriously asking because, I’m not sure if there exists a woman that would put up with his antics.
Andy in Agoura Hills on September 10, 2009 at 9:51 PM
Did he call him sir a hundred times?

I can’t do it…
mathscience41 on September 10, 2009 at 9:51 PM
Did you realize this douche introduced the Republican physician who gave the Republican response , not on his opinion show, but on MSNBC trying to play grown-up news, as “Now the Republican response, from a doctor who’s been sued for malpractice three times.”
I wish to heaven that would get as much play as “thrill up my leg”. it was despicable.
Marcus on September 10, 2009 at 9:51 PM
You know, like a third of commenters on his Daily Kos whhargarbls are against him. He’s like their Megan McCain.
Apologetic California on September 10, 2009 at 9:51 PM
Don’t you know there’s no place for emotion in American politics? After all, Democrats never, ever raise their voice when criticizing the President. It’s the office, Dude.
Fred 2 on September 10, 2009 at 9:51 PM
Won’t watch. Can’t comment.
txag92 on September 10, 2009 at 9:52 PM
Not exactly
Topsecretk9 on September 10, 2009 at 9:52 PM
lol, I came to read the comments to get a feel for it because I just can’t stomach this man.
oh well…
bridgetown on September 10, 2009 at 9:53 PM
Sorry, but the shock value was gone long ago…this thing will say anything…it is a perfect storm of lefty retardism. Really, what more can this thing say to further discredit itself. It’s a circus sideshow…it’s the bearded lady with 4 arms…
AUINSC on September 10, 2009 at 9:53 PM
I’d rather look at the dude with the three teeth up there in the headline section.
tree hugging sister on September 10, 2009 at 9:53 PM
Sorry, can not watch. I am waiting for the tub to fill up and then I am going to get in it with a hair dryer. Much more fun then watching Olberdouche.
kahall on September 10, 2009 at 9:53 PM
Keith Olbermenn, perpetual “Worst person in the world”. Not to mention pathological. I wonder how this hatred will work out? Maybe send people do do some Fact Checking on their own and realize, hey “Obama lied”.

Because they’re losers. Boy did you walk right into that one.
Sharke on September 10, 2009 at 9:56 PM
He can’t get people to watch him on his own show. I sure ain’t gonna watch this PUTZ here, although his audience is probably bigger here.
DougDavis on September 10, 2009 at 9:56 PM
You know the best thing about switching my cable provider to Verizon FIOS 2 years ago is that it doesn’t get MSNBC- I can’t switch the channel to it- EVER!!
Not even by mistake..not even in a drunken stupor…
not even if the dog randomly hits the remote-
not even to see Morning Joe…
Life is good in televisionland…
So, no…Allah…
I will not click the link…
marks on September 10, 2009 at 9:56 PM
My iPod won’t download the video and I’m thrilled I don’t have to look at that POS.
ndulik on September 10, 2009 at 9:57 PM
Because they’re too stupid not to cut their own throats. “Obama the Liar” is taking hold faster than “Joe Wilson the caffeine-crazed lunatic who dared to call Teh One a liar”.
ddrintn on September 10, 2009 at 9:57 PM
Will not watch.
thomasaur on September 10, 2009 at 9:57 PM
Someone linked to last night’s ratings. Naturally, FoxNews ruled and MSNBC was in last place every time slot from the speech until past mid-night.
Marcus on September 10, 2009 at 9:58 PM
It’s the circus freak show you’ve seen every summer since you were six.
Yeah, bearded lady, the midget juggling and the clown with the fire or something.
Can we go home now, Dad?
SteveMG on September 10, 2009 at 9:58 PM
Can’t never can. What an angry lookin fella
flyboy777 on September 10, 2009 at 9:58 PM
Can’t do it. I just ate.
Ted Torgerson on September 10, 2009 at 9:59 PM
Sorry Allah but I refuse to invest almost eleven minutes of my life listening to that clown. Been there, done that. Although I can’t recommend it, I am glad you’re willing to do it for me however.
ncborn on September 10, 2009 at 9:59 PM
yeah I didn’t watch it. He’s literally unwatchable. He hasn’t even figured out the value of hot chicks on the set with him. He thinks he’s the prettiest person in the world.
Seriously, this guy never adds anything substantive to a debate. The sum of his entire arguments is name calling. If he was in 2nd grade he’d be in time out the whole time.
ThackerAgency on September 10, 2009 at 9:59 PM
OK I watched —
Bush lied, lied, lied, lied and lied times 100 and Democrats were super polite and nice and respectful of GWB and Wilson was coerced and blah, blah, blah.
Topsecretk9 on September 10, 2009 at 9:59 PM
Did Olby defend Dear Leader or did he just call Bush a liar?
d1carter on September 10, 2009 at 9:59 PM
The last time I clicked to watch something like that, you deleted my comment.
You won’t trick me twice, AP:)

BuckeyeSam on September 10, 2009 at 10:00 PM
Anyone else seen the Orbitz commercial where the guy in the blue jumpsuit lands on the golf course? I swear it’s bathtub boy moonlighting.
proudteadrinker on September 10, 2009 at 10:00 PM
so the memorable event of the latest historic speech was Obama being called a liar. Good work!
rob verdi on September 10, 2009 at 10:00 PM
I honestly couldn’t make it past the stupid intro music.
I sure what he actually said was the epitome of ridiculousness, but I’ll never hear it, because I can’t listen to this failed sportscaster, fake ivy league grad pontificating on anything.
GopherCon on September 10, 2009 at 10:00 PM
It’s sort of like a meth head lecturing a crack addict.
SouthernGent on September 10, 2009 at 10:00 PM
I don’t have cable or FIOS TV because you can’t get just Fox News Channel without having to have all the other sewage pumped into your living room. I have to pay to have the sewage removed from my home and I am NOT going to pay anyone to pump it into my home.
TruthToBeTold on September 10, 2009 at 10:01 PM
There is NO way I am going to watch that clip!
Hal-9000 on September 10, 2009 at 10:01 PM
OT: Rumors about Hillary quitting and running for Gov of NY. That would make my prediction a year to late.
WashJeff on September 10, 2009 at 10:02 PM
I like to watch him twist himself into knots. I bet he goes through gallons on Maalox.
He’s hilarious. It’s like watching someone preen and talk to themselves in the mirror when they think no one’s looking. The only difference being Olby hopes someones watching.
Guardian on September 10, 2009 at 10:03 PM
Wilson…. Palinated.
upinak on September 10, 2009 at 10:03 PM
Not only can I not watch him…the image of the clip made me nauseous.
lamaestra57 on September 10, 2009 at 10:03 PM
Wow. That was an intense bout of verbal diarrhea. Did anyone understand what he was saying at 1:45?
Olberdouche was really off his meds tonight.
Stay classy, DUmmies.
BTW, the leftards are calling the march in DC on 9-12 the “biggest Klan meeting in DC since 1920“. Yes, really.
Dr.Cwac.Cwac on September 10, 2009 at 10:03 PM
Keith Olbermann is indignant and his cat is innocent.
TheQuestion on September 10, 2009 at 10:03 PM
Sorry I can’t watch that POS without throwing up in my mouth.
rplat on September 10, 2009 at 10:03 PM
If I were a corporate CEO with a VP of advertising who bought ad time during Olby’s hour or his buddy Rachel Maddow/Fred Savage’s hour, I’d waterboard him…and then fire him.
BuckeyeSam on September 10, 2009 at 10:04 PM
Okay, I tried…really I did try but I could not make it past 1:30 It was just too psychically painful…the mental equivalent of being waterboarded? Don’t know, but my eyes were hurting, I got a spontaneous nosebleed and broke out in hives. Now I feel a migrane headache coming on.
Please, I beg you: Don’t put video of KO on and then dare us to suffer through this idiot’s bleating. It’s inhumane.
trapeze on September 10, 2009 at 10:04 PM
Did you drink your Natty Boh’ first, miss lizzi? That will give you the strength to look and listen to this jackass.
He sounds so infantile.
Wrong that illegal aliens will be covered? Wrong that there are no credible cost-containment measures in the administration’s Big Plan? No. Wrong that the President is, indeed, a liar, and is in fact, not wearing any metaphorical clothes? An emphatic No.
GTR640 on September 10, 2009 at 10:04 PM
And the previous speech was when he said the Cambridge police acted “stupidly”.
Dr.Cwac.Cwac on September 10, 2009 at 10:05 PM
Keith Olbermann giving a lecture about civility? Oh man. That’s rich.
SoulGlo on September 10, 2009 at 10:05 PM
Wilson should have said “Mr. President, shut the hell up”
Ronnie on September 10, 2009 at 10:05 PM
Maalox biggest customer. Maybe Zanex too.
Guardian on September 10, 2009 at 10:05 PM
I watched it.
Wilson’s two words and an apology versus Olbermann’s almost eleven minutes-worth of words.
Hey, Olby: you lie!
I apologize. Lost my head for a moment.
On second thought—no, I’m not sorry.
Liar.
CO2 Producer on September 10, 2009 at 10:06 PM
So, did Olberdorf go after Obama for his lack of civility in calling people liars?
18-1 on September 10, 2009 at 10:06 PM
Mark Levin did an expose on Olberdouche and his douchebaggery. Keef has been soliciting sex on the internets and ML wants anyone who has dated Olberdouche to send contact him with the details of the date with Odoucheman. Levin had three women/girls on the show who said Odouche used them for one nighters. Levin calls Odouchebag THE BIGGEST PERVERT IN THE WORLD!!! hahahahaha
It was freakin hilarious. This freak is a hate generating machine.
sonnyspats1 on September 10, 2009 at 10:06 PM
Why wasn’t he on the NFL NBC pre-game show? Oh that’s right he sucks as a sportscaster as well. I can’t decide if this is an act or does this guy really have mental issues.
Either way, DID. NOT. WATCH.
davek70 on September 10, 2009 at 10:06 PM
I am a nurse and my diagnosis of KO is a combo of constipation(the look on his face) Rabies(the frothing at the mouth) and severe psychosis (the words that come out of his mouth).
My diagnosis is defecit neutral too.
proudteadrinker on September 10, 2009 at 10:07 PM
Lol, exactly. ALong with that moment of derisive laughter when Obama said something like “there are many details yet to be worked out…”

18-1 on September 10, 2009 at 10:08 PM
That Dude Wilson is a Hero. By the Way. I don’t care who finances him, who owns or runs him — he is essentially a nobody to the rest of the country, until he among all the rest of ball-less congress spoke “Truth to Power…
and told that little fop what a liar he was.

This from the guy who, until recently, was proclaiming Meghan McCain as the voice of the GOP’s future? Why am I suspicious?
highhopes on September 10, 2009 at 10:10 PM
Well I watched some of it. You’ll be glad to know that Mr. Oberman thinks the Pres. Bush lied but no one every called him on it. No, seriously, he said that and had numbers. Then he went on to state how many times Rep.”Wrong-way” Wilson had been incorrect. It’s quite boring actually.
Cindy Munford on September 10, 2009 at 10:10 PM
A shot of vitamin O will fix that…
Lanceman on September 10, 2009 at 10:11 PM

then he takes an ultra douchy deep breath
for all those people that say you can’t watch you should at least check out that part.
Joe Caps on September 10, 2009 at 10:12 PM
I don’t know if he’s gay, but he’s fat as hell. I was actually shocked when he was on Craig Ferguson one time and when he walked out it was the first time i had seen him not sitting behind a desk. He’s one of those people who waddles rather than walks and it’s even stranger because you wouldn’t guess it from looking at him when he sits behind a desk on his show.
Anyway, i’m not going to link to the video, but since Olby’s whining about Wilson, it seems like a good time to remind people that Olbermann did a show from ground zero on the anniversary of 9-11 a few years back and did a special comment from there calling for Bush to resign, he’s nothing but scum.
clearbluesky on September 10, 2009 at 10:12 PM

This one really annoys me. When the Pasty One was president and tried to socialize health care we fought him too. So, was that racism too?
Oh, and has the great Senatorial Klansman told us how he will vote on Obamacare yet? Isn’t it interesting that the left’s “conscious of the senate” is a Klan leader?
18-1 on September 10, 2009 at 10:13 PM
Olbermann’s face would look oh so appropiate plastered to the front cover of a urinal mat!
pilamaye on September 10, 2009 at 10:14 PM
I read an old post once which disclosed that Keith Olbermahnn has a diarrheal condition which accounts 1/2 for his asshol-i-ness.
GTR640 on September 10, 2009 at 10:14 PM
Just call him an asshole if you see him. He’ll get it.
GTR640 on September 10, 2009 at 10:15 PM

I will watch his show after the elections of ’10 and ’12, those should be classics in the making.

I can’t watch him. It’s just too much, but I do get a laugh whenever I think about Ben Affleck’s SNL impression of him. That was good comedy right there.
