Well, if the Whinemeister chose to be President of only 20% of the population what the hell does he expect? He can just take that crown off and stuff it. That goes for Princess Pelosi and Lord Reid as well.

"He has spent his short political life as a legislator, and not even a particularly bold legislator. Obama was much more of a bandwagon man as a legislator, offering rhetorical instead of political leadership, and for the most part receiving nothing but warm praise bordering on tongue-baths from the media."

So what's changed?? All I've heard from this moving man-posterboard is rhetoric. That's why the fringe left kooks in the house and senate were delegated the job to draft all of his legislation and he never has a clue what's in it when he spouts off.

Good job libs and moderates.

<blockquote>The problem Obama has is that he’s a liberal and as a liberal he has no core honor toward anything. In his world the end justifies the means so deceit isn’t a character flaw, but a simple tool to use.

Jeff from WI on September 11, 2009 at 5:25 AM</blockquote>
Yes, I agree. Furthermore....Obama - <em>what a tool</em>!

<blockquote>This is a tragedy comrades, just watch Comrade Pelosi’s, Comrade Biden’s and His O’liness’ faces

The looks on their faces was entertaining...which is why I've sent $$ to Joe Wilson. That trifecta of phony astonished anger was priceless!

In business management 101 there is something people learn about called the Ladder of Accountability. Obama is stuck on the first few rungs of the ladder and refuses to climb any higher it seems. On the first few rungs of the ladder we find people like Obama who insist on denying the truth of a situation/source of pain, they blame others, they make excuses, and they take a wait and hope attitude. When someone rises up above the rungs of abdicating behavior and start to elevate themselves into accountable behavior they finally start to take on the mantle of a true leader. First and foremost a leader must acknowledge the true reality of a given situation (not the one made up in their head). Then, they must take ownership of that reality, find/create solutions, and fully implement those solutions.

Obama displays a chronic anxiety demonstrated by his lack of committing to a strong and concise set of talking points. Instead he hides behind flowery rhetoric, strawman arguments, and wishy washy facts. One example of weak fact finding would be him first saying health care reform would save 47 million uninsured people, now it is 30 million. Just like when he pushed the stimulus bill it was going to save or create 500,000 jobs; no wait, 250,000 jobs -- oh actually I mean, 1 Meeelllion jobs (*pinky finger). Someone who is confident yet maintains an acute anxiety toward specific critical issues will be a more effective manager. A confident leader will find a position that directly addresses specific problems and likewise creates specific solutions. Obama, so far, has shown us he is entirely incapable of doing this to any degree.

It may be appropriate to equate Dear Leader with Germany's chancellor in the '30s, but the real issue is Dear Leader's lack of any real understanding of our constitutional democracy or how our democratic republic actually works to the betterment of all. Couple this with his complete lack of any moral compass and you have the product of a misguided situational ethics school of thought. What he "feels" is right is the correct answer to any question at any particular time. In his world there are no absolutes in moral terms. That is why Islam equates to Christianity, why communism is as good as capitalism, and why evil, as an expedient to attain what Dear Leader feels is good, is an acceptable premise. Yes, he is petulant. Yes, he appears to be getting rather bitter. But do not underestimate this man for he will resort to any evil to impose his vision of America upon us all. Never mind that his distorted vision bears no resemblance to what made these United States the singular example of freedom in the history of the world. He will not be satisfied until we are the equal of Kenya.

Let's keep speaking out. Let's call liars liars. (Thank you Joe Wilson! Can I move to South Carolina?) Let's remember we're Americans and we have a 2,000+ year history of speaking our minds and fighting oppression. Let's also remember what ultimately happened to the Hitler's and Caligula's and Nero's of this world (as well as the CZARS!) Pride goes before a fall. Uber pride goes before an Uber fall! The Uber Candidate has pride out the arse. He wants to be fawned over and admired without question. And he wants us to fall in behind him. That's what megalomaniacs want. He's bitter because we aren't doing it for him. I see a complete dissolution of character in 5....4....3....2....

<blockquote>Charisma is the reason that he reminds people so much of the new Chancellor of Germany in 1933.
</blockquote>

Fair assessment but it is a bit Godwin when the Nazi moniker is tossed out there.

A better moniker would be Dionysius I of Syracuse or Emperor Nero, maybe even Caligula or Tiberius.

The Great One is showing the classic reactions from a Narcisist whose false self of greatness is being questioned by his Supplers of Adoration instead if being believed in. The next step is for angry attacks on his "worthless" former believers who have betrayed him. Then he will invent a new false persona and present it to a new audience for his Narciscistic Supply, which is his ONLY motive in life. The recent Speech to Congress was designed to get that Supply from the Moderates that he is no longer getting out of his Progressive Socialist audience. This character trait aided by Obama's "gifted " Charisma is the reason that he reminds people so much of the new Chancellor of Germany in 1933.

I am shocked! While dispersing the current truth on Health Care Reform, the great O was called a LIAR! This is a tragedy comrades, just watch Comrade Pelosi's, Comrade Biden's and His O'liness' faces

<blockquote>Pretty soon Obama is going to need to start a war in order to distract us, and make him feel in control again.

My guess, Israel.

MarkTheGreat on September 10, 2009 at 1:23 PM</blockquote>

I would think something more akin to Waco.

Keep in mind the timing of that debacle. The People's Republik of New Jersey's assembly had passed a bill to repeal their assault gun ban. The NJ Senate was scheduled to vote and the concensus was that they would also pass it.

Then, Presto Chango, Suddently Janet the alligator wrestler Reno decides to stage a huge raid on the Koresh wackos to get Koresh, even though he walked in town by himself regularly. After Barbecuing the men women and children, the ATF proudly displayed the Eeeeevvvviiilll collection of Branch Davidian guns.

Oh, by the way, what was a sure thing to pass in the NJ senate suddenly failed to pass.

It pretty obvious from reading Brooks today that you needed a scorecard to register the nuance deeply embedded in the speech.
I wonder if anybody in DC knows how to speak in simple sentences.

<blockquote>but it’s the bitterness of a man who <strike>may have</strike> has never been told no <strike>for the first time</strike> in his <strike>political</strike> life, and clearly doesn’t know how to react to it.</blockquote>

The Dear Leader is discovering that the USA isn't North Korea. We can oppose him, and we have Constitutional protections to back us up. Also, the truth is on OUR side, not his.

If the Won continues along these lines, maybe we can remove him via the 25th amendment, have Biden choose a decent VP and then we can remove Biden via the 25th too. It's my fantasy dream, so I can believe it's possible.
