Andy Levy and I have spent the past few hours toasting the fact that this otherwise fine, upstanding organization has now been purged of its few bad actors. Will you join us, my friends? Surely ACORN’s return to civic glory deserves some celebration. They’re getting a bad rap anyway: Imagine how many thousands and thousands of ACORN employees Big Government must have had to approach to find two willing to conspire in a prostitution scheme. Damn Andrew Breitbart and his unholy doggedness.
Here’s video of Beck from today’s all-ACORN episode in full freakout mode. Semi-related exit question: I understand why he’s irate about the “rape and murder” smear site, and justifiably so, but isn’t suing highly counterproductive? If this becomes a First Amendment test case, the smear’s going to be covered far and wide…

God knows how many other laws this organization has broken…. The signs were all there during the elections and yet I fail to see national outrage against them. Hopefully now and with further investigations will their true nature be exposed.
I wonder how long before this country’s wake up and shuts them down for good.

I think Beck, like most of us, is “mad as hell and not going to take it anymore”. The time for staying above the fray is over.
Also, when someone, claiming they’re just mocking the way Beck argues, creates such a vicious rumor and website, I think any of us would have a hard time not wanting to hit back. It’s probably just some little nobody who Beck can shut down in short order. If it was MoveOn behind it, or something, it might not be worth fighting because it’d get so much publicity.

I didn’t know our comrades at ACORN are working so hard to make small business dreams come true. I thought they were just fighting the Wealthy Capitalist Pig Bankers, but no, they are also giving counseling to small business start-ups. They detail “special” types of tax filings and deductions. Actually, ACORN’s public relations director said that these guys tried the same stunt at five other ACORN offices and got shut down each time. I’d be interested in getting the reporters’ comment on that allegation because, if true, that does tend to reduce the significance of this event. (What makes the allegations against Planned Parenthood regarding abetting child abuse so damning is the fact that the reporters who did the undercover work at PP clinics found a great many of them willing to abet the abuse…)

When i first saw this, in another posting on hotair, it floored me and disgusted me. All of this is being laid out in the open, and the only thing these two (censored) can do is tell them how to propogate prostitution, child prostitution, how to scam the government and get our federal tax dollars at the end of all of this.
