Drudge source: House Dems don’t have the votes for ObamaCare

Pelosi says she does, Drudge does a head count and says she doesn’t. They might both be right: There’s not enough support to pass one of the current House bills, but maybe Madam Speaker thinks she’s got the numbers to get something with a “trigger” for the public option through. Then again, if 40+ Blue Dogs are ready to walk one way and 50+ progressives are ready to walk the other, the trigger would have to appeal to sizable contingents of both groups. How likely is that?
As we near zero hour, a little something from Boehner via CNS to meditate on. Actually, there won’t be much lipstick on this pig — in some passages, it’s practically a verbatim rehash of prior O oratory — but to the extent that there is, the shade is Hypocritical Blue.
