Actually plenty enought evidence that leads to those conclusions (marxist and non-christian) without one being a cause of the other.

And you are wrong about his Pastor. Wright praised the work of his mentor Cone who was just as rabid a communist as he was a racist. The acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Regardless, I never said the burden falls solely on the federal government, although I think we could agree it would be more effective at easing inequality.

According to Thomas Jefferson, one of the men who actually composed our U.S. Constitution (so his point of view on terms and aspects about it is meaningful and profound), the General Welfare Clause empowers Congress to ONLY establish issues SPECIFICALLY DEFINED to them BY the Constitution.

It’s not a general sponge-statement that can be then plasted onto any and everything an ideologue in Congress drums up (which is what today’s Democrats abuse it as, unfortunately: permission to exploit).

Wright is an excellent example of how the left lives almost entirely in their fantasy world and reality is largely irrelevant. Like how Evan Sayet said that after 9/11 he went to look for allies on the “nasty right” after his leftist friends shunned him, and he was shocked to find that Republicans were nothing at all like what he thought they were – because he never actually ASKED them before, he just “knew” what they were about because he’d been told by other leftists.

Wright sits around with other far-left whackos and dreams up some mythical political movement whose goals are to create poverty and spread cold sores or whatever, and they studiously avoid anyone who could shatter their illusions. It is a form of mental illness, after all.

They have impressive levels of social equality along with impressive levels of wealth.

Well, their impressive levels of social equality sure as hell ain’t reflected in the racial make up of their governing bodies. I’ve always found it comical that the enlightened euros were rooting for Obeyma.

When was the last time any black euro citizen had a remote chance of winning high office–regardless of what “socially equal” country he lives in?

Well did anyone expect Obama to join the Catholic Church when he got to Chicago? I’m sure he looked into it and once he found out that they don’t look fondly upon killing babies he crossed them off his list.
