This just proves what selfish hogs the Democrats are. One would think after 40 years, you would have had enough and would want to pass the mantle on to the younger generation, especially somebody in your own family. If Ted Kennedy had any decency, after 41 years, he would have groomed Joseph for the seat and stepped aside.

42, 43, 44, 45, 46 years in the senate passes by and still he holds on. He’s got to be over 70 by now and won’t let go. His health is deteriorating, he knows it can’t last much longer, but still. . .47, 48. He’s on his death bed, weak but conscious, thinking. . .

The kennedy’s remind me of copying copies. Each generation is fuzzier and lower quality than the last. From JFK to Ted was a huge decline. Joe II would have been unreadable.

To be good, don’t you have to have done something that most intelligent people would regard as being good?

JFK was a failure as a president. He had good PR, but every major initiative of his failed. Some of those failures resulted in the deaths of good men.

Ted? He kept the seat warm. He was an expert at spending other people’s money on projects that harmed the nation and ruined the lives of the people subjected to the programs. But beyond that, I can’t think of anything memorable that he did either.

Not every initiative. He announced his space goals AND put a man on the moon, all in his short and truncated term. He also set the groundwork for the reduction of taxes that successive administrations (namely Reagan followed).

The Bay of Pigs were the lowlight of his administration. Yes, it was poorly planned and advised.

And lastly, major civil rights strides in his administration. Johnson built his work into the Civil Rights Act.

Regardless of how you feel about affirmative action, etc. the plight of minorities vastly improved from his work.

$545,000 a year? Say….isn’t that wrong, according to those on the left? Exhorbitant salaries, especially from a non profit group? That’s a sin, from what I’ve heard, and must be regulated. Get him Obama. Let him know this will not be tolerated. No executive should be making that kind of money, because you all hate Capitalism, and that amount just reeks of capitalism. Sick him!!!!!
