Congratulations Allah, Rush has linked to this post on his daily email blast.

I agree with many here, the numbskulls in congress will attempt to censor the Internet. The coming months leading to the mid-term elections are going to be wild and woolly.

You are looking at the first shots across the bow demanding Internet censorship. First, complain about the inaccuracy. Second, say for the benefit of all, apply some kind of filter to make sure only "facts" are reported. Third, put the government in charge of the filter with penalties to those who violate the law.

Gee whiz! seems like when I was in highschool I was actually taught to sort out problems and think for myself. Gee whiz! It was back in the fifties! Know how to research, get the information. Nobody fed it to us! And, oh, by the way - the teachers actually ran the classrooms. But, sadly, I grew up in the Pacific Northwest where we weren't tormented by people like Jeremiah Wright and his Charlie McCarthy dummy. It has been a sad experience but I know bullshit when I hear it.

Glad to see a mention of this <a href="http://www.salon.com/opinion/greenwald/2009/09/07/mtp/index.html" rel="nofollow">Meet the Press panel</a>.

They discussed health care even though not a single member of the panel endorsed a public option, let alone a single-payer plan.

They discussed Afghanistan even though not a single member of the panel was willing to entertain the notion that it might be time to leave (and not a single panelist opposed the invasion of Iraq, either).

<strong>Damn that Liberal Media!</strong>

I'm soooo glad that the respected news organizations and reporters of the main stream media did not play in the cesspool of internet rumor last year with regards to Palin rumors and allegations.
Oh, wait.......

Its incredulous how hard the MSM tries to keep important information from their viewers. And that's why I never watch it. I even hate watching the local news on these stations.

Thank heavens for the internet and Fox News or it'd be impossible to get any real questions and real answers.

Hey Brokaw and Friedman - the blogsphere and Beck beat old media like a couple of Tom-Toms!

Real reporters would be asking how Jones got past the vetting and why anyone selected him to be in the administration. Who knew and when did they know. Then there is that whole Czar thing.

This is what a defense of an indefensible position looks and sounds like. Mere mortals would be embarrassed.

What would you rather believe. A network that runs a fabricated story about a sitting president? The network that hosts a night of Obama on Health Care (back before he was getting serious about the issue, I guess). The network whose CEO sits on a board at the White House?

Or a web site that posts video from just about any possible source, where you can see Van Jones denounce America in his own words?

Or, you could listen to NBC News to find out which pickup trucks are likely to explode.

But that wouldn't be a good idea now, wold it Tom.

I am flabbergasted.

A top governmental official was outed as a supported of the abhorrent crackpot fantasy that the US government somehow participated in a mass murder on their own citizens 11th of Sept 2001.

Their only concern was how a 'little misstep' could devastate a persons career because of the Internet(!). The lack of investigation and reporting on this issue by MSM shows clearly what kind of 'filter' they mourn the loss of.

Why did that GOP guy sit there just smiling? Why didn't he interject, pointing out the hypocrisy?

We are more than happy to do the job you refuse to do.

None of the facts of the case are relavant?
Is Van Jones a communist?
Does he formulate and advise revolution?
Does Van Jones insist that white people are evil?

No one addresses the real reason Van Jones resigned. He got caught with his pants down and now everyone knows he is a racist communist anti-American p////.
