Nazis as conservatives? Christians at that? Oh, man… you better read up on them before those books are burned – and I won’t be the one burning them…

Farenheit 451 style I’d guess. The embodiment of Christian conservatism. Don’t worry about burning anything, there’s always a scapegoat to be had.

I’ll let you think about NEA for a while. I’m sure you have access to a search engine such as Google.

Oh my, we have a product of the modern public education system here, don’t we? OK, let’s see how this works out. Ignorance can be fixed, stupidity, not so much. Let’s see where you fall in this dichotomy.

a) History lesson: Hitler despised all religion and was, at best a pagan who dabbled in the occult. His party was not by any means Christian, nor did he espouse Christianity. He tolerated it to a great extent because of the political ramifications of not doing so. The Nazis (National SOCIALIST Party) were fascists who believed in the paradigm of having the government run all industry by control of corporations and the corporate leaders (sound familiar to some recent history here?).

b) NEA: National Education Association — the teachers’ union whose policies have graced us with products such as yourself who have apparently been taught from grade school how evil the US is, how close to the Nazi’s conservatives are, and how pure and righteous socialists and socialism are.

It was called National Socialist German Workers’ Party.
Hitler was a Darwinist.
General William Donovan, compiled a huge amount of documentation that the Nazis also planned to systematically destroy Christianity.”These documents show that the Nazis, right from the beginning, realized that the church would have to be neutralized because of its opposition to racism and aggressive wars of conquest. So they planned to infiltrate the churches from within; defame, arrest, assault or kill pastors; reindoctrinate the congregations; and suppress denominational schools and youth organizations.”

I’m not sure it’s worth arguing with disillusioned. I’m not even sure what the point is of trying to “define” what religion Nazis were, as it wasn’t a religion (although they persecuted many because of religion) but a political movement. disillusion:

You have a lot of learning and reading to do.

The book Hitler’s Secret Conversations 1941-1944 published by Farrar, Straus and Young, Inc.,first edition, 1953, contains definitive proof of Hitler’s real views. The book was published in Britain under the title, _Hitler’s Table Talk 1941-1944, which title was used for the Oxford University Press paperback edition in the United States.

All of these are quotes from Adolf Hitler:

Night of 11th-12th July, 1941:

National Socialism and religion cannot exist together…. The heaviest blow that ever struck humanity was the coming of Christianity. Bolshevism is Christianity’s illegitimate child. Both are inventions of the Jew. The deliberate lie in the matter of religion was introduced into the world by Christianity…. Let it not be said that Christianity brought man the life of the soul, for that evolution was in the natural order of things. (p 6 & 7)

10th October, 1941, midday:

Christianity is a rebellion against natural law, a protest against nature. Taken to its logical extreme, Christianity would mean the systematic cultivation of the human failure. (p 43)

14th October, 1941, midday:

The best thing is to let Christianity die a natural death…. When understanding of the universe has become widespread… Christian doctrine will be convicted of absurdity…. Christianity has reached the peak of absurdity…. And that’s why someday its structure will collapse…. …the only way to get rid of Christianity is to allow it to die little by little…. Christianity the liar…. We’ll see to it that the Churches cannot spread abroad teachings in conflict with the interests of the State. (p 49-52)

19th October, 1941, night:

The reason why the ancient world was so pure, light and serene was that it knew nothing of the two great scourges: the pox and Christianity.

21st October, 1941, midday:

Originally, Christianity was merely an incarnation of Bolshevism, the destroyer…. The decisive falsification of Jesus’ doctrine was the work of St.Paul. He gave himself to this work… for the purposes of personal exploitation…. Didn’t the world see, carried on right into the Middle Ages, the same old system of martyrs, tortures, faggots? Of old, it was in the name of Christianity. Today, it’s in the name of Bolshevism. Yesterday the instigator was Saul: the instigator today, Mardochai. Saul was changed into St.Paul, and Mardochai into Karl Marx. By exterminating this pest, we shall do humanity a service of which our soldiers can have no idea. (p 63-65)

13th December, 1941, midnight:

Christianity is an invention of sick brains: one could imagine nothing more senseless, nor any more indecent way of turning the idea of the Godhead into a mockery…. …. When all is said, we have no reason to wish that the Italians and Spaniards should free themselves from the drug of Christianity. Let’s be the only people who are immunised against the disease. (p 118 & 119)

14th December, 1941, midday:

Kerrl, with noblest of intentions, wanted to attempt a synthesis between National Socialism and Christianity. I don’t believe the thing’s possible, and I see the obstacle in Christianity itself…. Pure Christianity– the Christianity of the catacombs– is concerned with translating Christian doctrine into facts. It leads quite simply to the annihilation of mankind. It is merely whole-hearted Bolshevism, under a tinsel of metaphysics. (p 119 & 120)

9th April, 1942, dinner:

There is something very unhealthy about Christianity (p 339)

27th February, 1942, midday:

It would always be disagreeable for me to go down to posterity as a man who made concessions in this field. I realize that man, in his imperfection, can commit innumerable errors– but to devote myself deliberately to errors, that is something I cannot do. I shall never come personally to terms with the Christian lie. Our epoch Uin the next 200 yearse will certainly see the end of the disease of Christianity…. My regret will have been that I couldn’t… behold .” (p 278)

From Inside the Third Reich by Albert Speer:

Hitler had been much impressed by a scrap of history he had learned from a delegation of distinguished Arabs. When the Mohammedans attempted to penetrate beyond France into Central Europe during the eight century, his visitors had told him, they had been driven back at the battle of Tours. Had the Arabs won this battle, the world would be Mohammedan today. For theirs was a religion that believed in spreading the faith by the sword and subjugating all nations to that faith. The Germanic peoples would have become the heirs to that religion. Such a creed was perfectly suited to the Germanic temperament. Hitler said that the conquering Arabs, because of their racial inferiority, would in the long run have been unable to contend with the harsher climate and conditions of the country. They could not have kept down the more vigorous natives, so that ultimately not Arabs but Islamized Germans could have stood at the head of this Mohammedan Empire.

Hitler usually concluded this historical speculation by remarking: “You see, it’s been our misfortune to have the wrong religion. Why didn’t we have the religion of the Japaneses, who regard sacrifice for the Fatherland as the highest good? The Mohammedan religion too would have been much more compatible to use than Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?”

Oh have no doubt he’ll land back at one of the radical Marxist organizations he came from; Apollo project, Center for American Progress or even ACORN. He’ll be around the White House whatever happens.

The Colombians have the best way to deal with self avowed Communists…but alas we’re not there yet.

I’ve heard of no-parking zones, tow-away zones, ozone, even the Twilight Zone, but horizones got me stumpified.

TMK on September 6, 2009 at 12:42 AM

*rolls eyes…

Clearly you should know about the dangerzone. Michael Jackson was intimately familiar with this – his lawyers had to draw diagrams every day for him.

I’m not sure what knowledge horizones are, but you should send that in to Wired Magazine.

REMEMBER THIS!

NEVER FORGET THIS!

YOU WANT ME TO SEND YOU BACK TO WHERE YOU WERE? UNEMPLOYED? IN GREENLAND?

Oops. Wrong speech again. Hold on.

(flip flip)

Ah yes, here we are:

Remember this, my fellow Americans, never forget this:

ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, The New Yuck Times and all the rest still want you to believe if THEY CHOOSE NOT TO COVER A STORY IT DOES NOT EXIST AND IT HAS NO EFFECT ON THE COUNTRY.

And some of you are still falling for it.

Don’t believe their lies.

Like the case of the SwifVets in the 2004 election, they are learning again they DO NOT SHAPE THE NEWS the way they used to, and they can’t cover for ‘their guy’ any more by simply ignoring growing scandals.

For a week they have pretended the ‘Van Jones controversy’ didn’t even exist. Just like they pretended the John Edwards Baby Mama scandal didn’t exist.

And once again, they learn a hard lesson. We are here, we are heard, and we are not going away.

And to think Harry Morgan went on to play on M*A*S*H. What a difference a few years make.

Really? You parrot what you have learned in the form of a question but you have have given no indication you really are interested in securing new knowledge.

chemman on September 6, 2009 at 12:57 AM

I respect the old t.v. series, but don’t get all sentimental over Harry Morgan. He was an alcoholic who beat his wife.
As per usual, he was (is) only an actor. Nothing more.

betsyz on September 6, 2009 at 12:58 AM

Thanks for the thought. You might want to give Sir your reference.

Well, the earlier question was “ignorance” or “indoctrinated and stupid”. You have answered our question. Thanks for playing, and as one person has said in other venues, eat recycled food and have a nice next life.

Sorry for the rant folks. I’m really losing patience with statists, particularly statists who deem themselves superior and attempt to condescend to us “ignorant common folk” with their lofty rhetorical questions [gleaned verbatim from their professors' talking points notes] and try to enlighten us with their superior viewpoint.

I’m sure reality will mug him soon enough.

Please tell me what I have parrot’d. I’ve only asked questions to Sir, of which others have answered. I’ve read all comments. oohhs no, maybe Sir may comment on my grammer again without answering a question. i’m sure parrot’d is going to be a real treat too.

Conceded, but on shaky grounds, since his statement right befor that was about making the old country work…if the founders had done that we wouldn’t be in a 233 yr-old country.

I can’t wait for someone to invent a time machine so I can go back about 60 years and start living a truly good life, surrounded by people with a f***ing brain in their heads.
