Two goodies from Breitbart to cleanse the palate in case you haven’t seen them already on Drudge. Fun fact about our “green jobs” czar: Like everyone else, he can’t define what a “green job” is. Between that and his nuanced approach to signing documents before carefully reading them, he’s exactly the guy we want to be in charge of $30 billion of stimulus money.
The first clip is the more cartoonish of the two but I prefer the second, just because it captures a moment of vintage leftist faux profundity. Try to imagine, say, Mike Huckabee expounding on how suburban white kids shoot up schools because they’re not getting enough love, and how it’s incumbent upon us to think more deeply about evil.

The question that no one is asking about Van Jones is how this radical with ties to extremism wasn’t identified as a threat by the Secret Service Protective Detail.

It’s complete hogwash, this story from the White House that they didn’t know about Van Jones’ radical statements and connections. Everyone that enters the White House gets an anal exam by the Secret Service – they would have (or should have) told the President … “We don’t recommend this guy be allowed in.”
If they did that – someone in the White House overrode them and told them to let him in anyway.
What’s the story – what happened and what did the Secret Service recommend on this guy – if anything.

IMHO Jones is not going anywhere for now. Too much at stake for Obama. First is the reason U85 gives. Second it would oblige the MSM getting snooped by Fox to find dirt on another member of his team. Third, this has yet to hit critical mass. Obama is just arrogant enough to think that this will all subside after his historic/s speech next wednesday.

This is the first reaction I had when I saw the headline by Jones on Drudge about “only white kids shooting up schools”.
I can promise you that gang violence (perpetrated by mostly by blacks,latinos,and asians) accounts for a whole lot more school and overall violence than the random school attack like Columbine.
By the way, this will really endear Jones and Obama to the Colorado community where Columbine is still a very sensitive issue.
Of course liberals will politicize anything to score points,just watch them gloating over the picture of a dying Soldier all weekend for proof of that.

He graduated from an Ivy League school, realized he was a total BSer and could not make it in the real lawyer world where there are really smart and talented people, so he went the “community organizer” route to feed his ego.

Geeze, scratch the surface. If there were ANY programs to address the issue of “young white men in pain or isolated” in school that very same school would be billed as RACIST. Jones needed to take it forward just one more step. He didn’t, and this deliberate failure puts a spotlight on his one dimensional character.

I think Van Jones is too important a fellow traveler for Ogabe to dump. He wants those like minds around him as an echo chamber and to help implement his fascist policies without question. They are key footsoldiers in his army of oppression.
Also, Van Jones is useful as a window to Ogabe’s soul (or whatever he has that passes for a soul). Through Van Jones’ words and actions we see his master more clearly.
So I would be OK if he stuck around in some neutered form but not as a power player…if that’s even possible.
