Two goodies from Breitbart to cleanse the palate in case you haven’t seen them already on Drudge. Fun fact about our “green jobs” czar: Like everyone else, he can’t define what a “green job” is. Between that and his nuanced approach to signing documents before carefully reading them, he’s exactly the guy we want to be in charge of $30 billion of stimulus money.
The first clip is the more cartoonish of the two but I prefer the second, just because it captures a moment of vintage leftist faux profundity. Try to imagine, say, Mike Huckabee expounding on how suburban white kids shoot up schools because they’re not getting enough love, and how it’s incumbent upon us to think more deeply about evil.

CBS FINALLY covered Jones. But as you can expect, they left all damaging quotes.
CBS only covered 3 things on Jones:
1. The George Bush “crack pipe” comment. I believe they chose that because, how else do you get liberals and those not in the know, to support someone. You show them bash Bush.
2. The A-hole comment. Again, how else do you get anyone other the conservatives to like someone? Show them bashing the GOP.
3. Part of the 9/11 Truth thing. They left out most of things that show he may have been a part of that from its beginning.
So they ignored ALL his comments on being a radical and communist. And the poisoning of immigrants. And everything else.

Solar & wind are the least reliable, least developed sources of energy, yet the left wants to rob the companies that provide carbon based energy to pay for unreliable & inefficient energy. If they were serious they’d advocate nuclear power, which is relatively clean and very reliable.
Besides, wind is just stupid. If you want to capture natural energy you go with tidal based generators. They’ll take longer to develop, but they’ll work.
In the short term it’s in the interest of the US to drill & develop domestic reserves. Econ 101: Oil is fungible. If you put more supply into the market you can reduce the overall price. Energy fuels development. In order to fuel industry & development we should be pushing to produce more oil domestically, which is profitable and beneficial.
Green jobs sound nice, but it was a job with an oil company that provided my father with a paycheck. What happens to all those roughnecks who are out there busting their asses, when Chevron feels the consequences of a “green” economy?

This guy is a lawyer, right? A civil rights lawyer? Why would you want a civil rights lawyer in charge of handing out gobs of free money?
Who will get this free money? What will be the terms of the contract/grant? Is this free money going to benefit industrialists who then are expected to hire workers? Will the terms of the grant/contract include what kind of work will be done, where, and who gets hired?
Will this free money go to people with great ideas, but not necessarily business or science experience? Will this money go to political organizations independent of the White House or the democrat party?
Is this free money going into research and development, or into specific projects in specific areas, say low income neighborhoods most in need of employment? Any chance some of this money will go into affordable housing specifically designed to be low impact environmentally?
What exactly are the duties of a white house czar? What is it that they do? Policy proposals, meeting with special interest groups, analyzing grant proposals, doing the necessary oversight to insure the money actually gets spent as indicated in the grant contract?
Are there any journalists left in Washington D.C. or are they all just news presenters, news readers, on air personalities, and stenographers?

I can not believe this country resembles a country of a dictator. Where the news is basically controlled. Our Founding Fathers would be ashamed at the direction we’ve headed. Growing up, it never entered my mind that most of the media would commit treason like this. To me, it is treason what they are doing. I know of no other way to describe it.

I am sorta surprised he’s still around. If we don’t hear anything about his “resignation” in the next few hours I doubt we will hear anything at all.
