Via JWF and Gabe Malor, who have to be wondering whether Barack Obama appointed Van Jones as the Green Jobs Czar as some sort of blogger full-employment program. After being a Communist and a 9/11 Truther, will Jones’ support for cop-killer Mumia Abu Jamal even register? Maybe it will at the White House:
More than 150 demonstrators marched from 14th Street and Broadway to the Oakland Federal Building to demand that the Justice Department re-open its corruption investigation of the Philadelphia Police Department.
Supporters of Mumia Abu-Jamal, a death row inmate convicted for the 1981 shooting death of a Philadelphia police officer, said the protest was called after the Supreme Court on Monday rejected claims that Abu-Jamal, a former radio journalist and Black Panther, did not receive a fair trial.
“We knew there was another event going on, but the timing of the court decision is what dictated when the protest was held,” said Van Jones, a San Francisco civil rights lawyer who helped coordinate the protest march.
Jones said about 15 protesters occupied the rotunda at the Federal Building on Clay Street in an act of civil disobedience with the hope they would be arrested.
What will be Jones’ excuse this time? He didn’t check out the fine print on the “Free Mumia” picket signs before he held one?
Major Garrett reported on Twitter that Rep. Mike Pence said: “Van Jones should resign and if he is unwilling to do so, the president should demand his resignation.” One would think that the Obama administration would hasten to distance itself from both Truthers and supporters of cop-killers. I imagine James Crowley may be having an ironic laugh at this today.

It depends on how explicit and well known such actions are. Obama’s are not yet explicit enough, the media covers for him, the average person remains uninformed, and those who voted for him can rarely admit a mistake. Add all of that to a further power grabbing from a crisis I expect in the next 3 years, and I am not hopeful.
Imagine all of the white guilt and black shame if Obama were impeached. Imagine how much worse than Carter ex-president Obama will be. No, 2008 may have been the tipping point, our own event horizon. If you think that is hyperbole, ask yourself if you have been successful in a debate with a liberal lately. And by successful I mean you convinced them.

I sense some glee in some people. I do not share that glee. There is some serious chit coming down the pipe and as I told those close to me, some chit is gonna hit the fan. The Obama administrations take on the “status quo” is that this country was built wrong and they are going to fix it, regardless of what the current popular mood is. They took thier election results as a sign that they have free reign to stomp on rights and tradition in the name of change. This is not the change he promised. In fact, its quite different and has in just six short months shown which path he intends to take for the next 42. Im telling you, around here, all the Obama signs, bumper stickers, flags, thirts are gone. I am quite a social person and it has been obvious that many an independant and crossover voter is wondering WTF have I done. I have had a couple admit it to me. We must fight this radical wave. Im watching CBS right now. At the begininng of the show, they did show that they are going to talk about the Van Jones thing. The preview only looked like it would show the “attack on Republicans” A-hole comment.
So I immediately called CBS and asked if they were actually going to talk about ALL the other things Jones has said. The guy told me: “you didnt even see the piece yet, wait and see.”
I said okay, fine. Well see.
I may have jumped the gun but I still dont see them covering the whole story, like WE know it. Ill find here shortly.

2. The A-hole comment.
3. Part of the 9/11 Truth thing. They left out most of things that show he may have been a part of that from its beginning.

I work for a state university and they are trying to sell us everything from mops to printing. I don’t have an issue with prisoners working…but I do at this moment in time.
